I had been eyeing this since it came out and decided to grab it when it was on sale - and I’m so glad I did! It’s on the pricier side but having the peace of mind when I’m out and about that the water I drink will be amazing and clean no matter what is priceless! I have been working for years to seriously reduce my waste and every time I see friends or family with plastic single use water bottles, I tell them about lifestraw! I adore the color and the addition of the silicon bottom keeps it from sliding around. I loooove the mouthpiece and the handle fits my hand perfectly. Really really well done!!!

The only reason I hadn’t bought the original Go Series water bottle was because I didn’t like the exposed straw so when I saw they’d redesigned it I was immediately excited. It is THE perfect water bottle l, I love that I can fill it up anywhere and still get quality filtered water and the stainless steel is amazing.

Supporting companies like Life Straw is important because you are not just getting a water bottle for personal use, but supporting people with a lack of resources. The bottle itself is great. I work and live in a place with hard water. This bottle makes me feel comfortable to get water from any source and drink it. The only thing you should know is that the metal bottle is a little heavy. Have that in mind!

This filter makes any water 10x better. It keeps water cold for 24+ hrs. My only complaint is that the bottle is so heavy—dropped it on my toe once and it hurt!

I love the concept of using the water bottle with the filter to make consuming water more convenient however the mouth piece doesn’t feel natural. And you have to suck harder than you would if you were using a straw. I’ve used it twice since purchasing and will probably use it only when traveling or being out all day. I’m just a little disappointed in the mouth piece design.

The water tastes great. I wish there was a phone number so that I could reach a live expert for questions I have on cleaning etc. I know there are online videos etc. But nothing beats being able to communicate with a live human.

I love that this bottle filters my water but I do not like how difficult it is to actually drink the water in the bottle. The suction is not my favorite. It’s fine if you want to sip on water but not ideal when you actually need to rehydrate

Filter is nice but shouldn’t have to replaced as often. Also, the straw doesn’t extend to bottom of bottle, so even when it’s 1/4 full, you can’t sip water past that point. A little annoying, obvious design flaw.

The only thing I don’t care for is the mouth piece. Sometimes pressure builds up and when you open it you get a little wet. Possibly I don’t understand the science behind it all. We Trave a lot so love the concept. We have 3 pitchers and other lifestraw products.

I love lifestraw products. The peace of mind knowing your water is being properly filtered and safe for consumption is priceless. However, this product has this weird pressure buildup that literally keeps drawing water through the sip straw even when you're not intentionally doing it. The result is constant leaking at the top and water running over. This is highly annoying. Any tips to stop this would be greatly appreciated Lifestraw. Fix this issue and I would rate it a 5 star!

Overall, I find this to be a solid and high-quality water bottle and filtration system. It works well in a variety of climates, from icy cold winter days to the humidity of Cuban streets. I’ve dropped it a few times, and aside from a few scratches and dents, it has held up well. The two times the bottle and handle were most damaged were due to the design of the handle, which also serves as the cap. It doesn't happen often, but the handle does seem to loosen over time, which has caused it to unscrew while I’m walking or standing. If it’s tightened too much when closing, it also causes the base that the silicone mouthpiece sits in to over-tighten. That is the biggest issue I’ve encountered with this product’s design. It features a wide mouth with completely smooth plastic sides. As someone who struggles with dexterity issues, it can be difficult—and sometimes painful—to grip this part in order to unscrew the cap and refill the bottle. Even people without dexterity problems have found it difficult. If there were a base made of a more grippable material around that circle, it would be much easier to unscrew the top for refilling. I live in a humid environment, so staying hydrated with clean drinking water is essential—or else I would try a smaller bottle with a smaller diameter cap. The silicone also seemed to degrade relatively quickly, despite careful use. Replacements are available at an affordable price, but they don’t offer the same color options that the original product does. My only other issue is that cleaning the bottle can be tedious. The silicone mouthpiece does not stay flush against the area it screws onto. Water has gotten inside that area numerous times, despite my drying it thoroughly beforehand. This can create a nauseating odor and requires more frequent cleaning than I had initially expected. The filter works great, the metal bottle is sturdy, but the cap and mouthpiece leave something to be desired in terms of design and functionality. Love that its available in a bottle now, but i really dont like the straw/suction spout, it holds too much water after you drink, and the spout is a bit gross, you have to insert in your entire mouth, its just lots of work for a sip of water.

While I do love the filter and the overall look, the bottle has two major drawbacks. There is no texture or grip that makes it easy to open. The surrounding is completely smooth, and since every time you screw the top-lid closed it tightens the bottle a bit more, it is extremely difficult to get open sometimes. Wouldn't be good in a wet outdoor situation, or when you have arthritis or injured hands. Also - unless I missed it, there should be a bigger warning that a pressure change will cause the bottle to leak/spew water out of the mouthpiece. After driving up a mountain and opening my bottle, about 3/4 cup of water forced it's way out of the mouthpiece and onto my pants. It happens every time I change altitude. Again, the filter works great and the water always tastes the same!

The filter isn’t compatible with my old life straw. So it seems like that one is now useless. This new one the nipple is really small and lots weird/awkward to drink. Feels like drinking from a baby bottle. Also there is a handle but when I tried to clip it to my backpack with a Carabiner, the top popped off because the bottle was too heavy. I much preferred the old bottle which came with a ring around the top which had a carabiner on it. So much easier to transport. Now I have to carry the bottle everywhere. I still like lifestraw as a company but preferred the old bottle.

The cup itself is amazing. My water tastes so fresh and I like that. However the cup is hard to unscrew after use. We had to 2 man it every time. Also the ice and water don’t stay cold for very long. I’ve had a few cold cups and I am losing longevity for flavor and health benefits so it’s a win but I’m used to having cold water for at least 2 days with previous cups. I love my cup though I wouldn’t trade it at all.

I really enjoy the quality of water from this bottle and use it daily! It takes a moment to adjust to drinking from this bottle. I appreciate that the bottle and spout are the same color. The hot pink color clashes with my decor, but other colors such as baby pink, apricot, robin’s egg blue, toffee, butter yellow, and papaya would be a hit. The pink is nearly neon and it stands out oddly in my space. The bottle holds some water that can’t be reached by the filter, so a portion of the water in the bottle can’t be filtered.
