This is a nice addition to any leatherman that will use them. That being said one of the tips of the bits twisted trying to move the belt clip on my arc. So nice the highest quality but mostly good enough to get you by.

I love how flat they are, and they fit really well in the sheath with pockets. Only complaint is that it can be hard to get bits out when you first get it, but then again I would rather the bits stay in the kit and struggle a little to get them out than having them all fall out

I bought my last leatherman tool (wave) back in 2016 & it’s taken close to 10 years to wear them down on several camping & canoeing trips, hiking in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, & fairly regular household repairs for my family & friends. I have had leatherman multi tools for decades. As a trained Manual and CNC machinist, the quality & manufacturing at Leatherman is top flight. Although I have had a number of different brands, Leatherman still remains the only one that has never broken no matter what I’ve done to abuse it. When hurricane Katrina came back in August 2005, the garage was obliterated by one of those small, jumping tornadoes that happens during a nasty hurricane & all we had left was my Leatherman wave. We had 2 family’s not including myself & my wife. Without question, it literally saved our lives allowing us to build & repair damage, & fix electrical issues allowing us to run the well, freezer, refrigerator, washing machine, radio, & 3 fans.

Glad to find out your Vietnamese bit kit isn't covered under warranty. Could of said that on the packaging for people buying from brick and mortar, as well as having somewhere on the packaging mentioning the eyeglass screwdriver isn't compatible with all tools. Pathetic.

Just got this bit set and am already happy with my purchase! The set has the most common to some not as common bits. I love to tinker and take apart my knives and other such things, but kind of a pain almost never having the right torx bit. The 42 double sided bits are so lightweight I can absolutely carry them everyday! Fact is the 42 bit set is about 3. 2oz (+/-0. 1oz) and a full bit set ( wiha full sized bit) is 11. 4oz! Shaving that much wieght is a lifesaver. Remember: ounces = pounds, pounds = pain.

This Bit Kit is a great addition to the Wave. Wide variety of double headed bits in 2 secure, rubbery, holders that fit into an extended Wave case. The only problem is that it makes a fairly thick package to carry on your belt all day. The right case is also extremely important for it to be comfortable enough to wear it all day and be accessable when you need it.

It works well for the design. I do not prefer the proprietary flat design. I use regular bits in the ratchet extension more often. This has the benefit of being slim for storage.

Should come with a 2nd micro bit since there is an open slot for it. Especially since you already get us on the setup…comes with one bit rail, buy the extra kit with 2 bit rails and you get doubles in half the sizes instead of a more complete overall set. These are the details that matter to your high end buyers if you want to keep them from other nice brands.
