I got this and the first time I put it in my kit I needed it, and was able to use my bits to access a bolt that I would have otherwise not been able to reach without the extender. So that was pretty cool. Leatherman makes great products that are worth the investment, even if the prices may seem high to some, they are totally worth it.

Very good accessory for my ARC. Works well for those situations where the bit fitted straight into the tool does not provide enough length. The feature that it will not only accept Leatherman bits but any 1/4"" standard bit is excellent!

As always with Leatherman products, it snaps right in with no slop and stays in place even while giving it good amount of torque. AND, it looks good. Sometimes you just need a little extra length to reach a screw comfortably, this does that. I love the ability to not only use the Leatherman bits but also other bits as well. The etched shaft makes using it by itself also work really well. While the ratchet is handy, this none ratcheting extender is a must for anyone you wants to get the most out of their Leatherman.
