I am a huge fan of Kravebeauty products. I especially love the Oat So Simple Water Cream and the Beet the Sun sunscreen, and a few other products I've tried over the years. When I saw this new retinol serum, I wanted to give it a try. I liked the packaging and the formula initially felt great on the skin -- it wasn't sticky or oily at all. However, I will not be purchasing this product again. I have sensitive skin, so my goal was to use it once a week and build up, but I tried it once and started to develop rashes and itchiness all over my face, ears, and neck. At first, I thought it was medication I was taking, but I stopped taking the medication and realized that wasn't the issue. Once my skin was better after a few weeks, I gave this product another try (last night), and the rashes and itchiness developed overnight, and it looks like I have a bad sunburn on my face/neck. It was much worse than the first time it happened. I really wanted this product to work out because I have sensitive skin and thought the gentle formula would work for my face, but it didn't.

This lightweight fragrance-free gel serum has a slow and gentle effectiveness, which is ideal for beginners. Anyone, whether beginner or experienced, can definitely benefit from this retinal and start to see results in just a few weeks. So far I've seen irritated sensitive red spots and acne marks slowly fade. Haven't seen fine lines soften up just yet, but I imagine they will with more use. Overall, a great high quality product!

I've been using it for about a month and had no irritation! which is rare for me with my dry and sensitive skin. I've tested it on one side of my face and definitely noticed more brightness on that side, I'm excited to keep using it on my whole face and see improvements.

I bought this to try because of the gentle formula. I am sad to say it didn't work out for my skin. I have used other brands of retinol, usually gentle and low % retinol. I eased my way to using this. Being this is a new product, I started with once a week to once every other day. I love the feel of this formula. It didn't leave my skin feeling greasy, sticky, it absorbed really well into my skin. When I was using it every other day, I would wake up to more radiant looking skin. I haven't experienced any peeling or drying out of skin. Once I finally feel comfortable enough, I started to use it in closer intervals, my face started feeling really itchy. I stopped using most products and just used cleanser, moisturizer and SPF in the morning. I redo this whole process again, 3x, but still feel itchy each time. I even tried using it after moisturizer, as a buffer, but it would still make me itchy. Needless to say, I'm really sad. I really enjoyed this product in the beginning but unfortunately for me, it just didn't work out. I wished my skin agrees with this.

I live in Colorado so it’s a very dry environment and other retinal have really dried out my skin and made it extremely dehydrated. This product is somehow hydrating while still doing what a retinal should do. I went to a wedding 3/4 weeks after I started using this product and had so many people tell me my skin was glowing.

As someone with slightly sensitive skin, I am not very experimental with skincare routine. The only vit A derivate products I've used are Jordan Samuel Skin Retinol Treatment Oil (0.2% retinol only accdg to Google; was too oily for humid Philippines & personally did not notice extraordinary results) and Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum : Ginseng + Retinal (0.02% pure retinal only accdg to Google -- I still use this product to this day). While I understand that 24 Carrot Retinal only has 0.05% retinal, somehow, it gives me immediately better-looking skin the day after. Maybe it's in the formula and how easily it gets absorbed in the skin? I've only been using it 1-2x a week, and because I'm still scared of getting sensitized, I apply it on top of GBR and I apply Oat So Simple moisturizer on top. This is just my first bottle, and I'm only on my 2nd week. But I think it will be another routine staple for me.

I had the opportunity to try this retinol cream as part of the testing period, and I’m so glad I did. From the very first use, I noticed the smooth, lightweight consistency—it’s not heavy, oily, or greasy at all, and it absorbs beautifully into the skin. But honestly given how much I enjoy every other Krave Beauty product I've tried, I'm not surprised! :) As someone with sensitive skin, I’m always cautious with retinol, but this product didn’t cause any irritation whatsoever. In fact, it left my skin looking brighter, with noticeably less redness. My pores appeared smaller, and the overall texture of my skin felt much smoother. I’ll definitely be incorporating this into my nightly routine going forward, and I’m really looking forward to the official release so I can recommend it to friends. It’s rare to find a retinol that’s both effective and gentle—this one nailed it.

I really enjoyed this product & felt it made my skin look brighter & bouncier. I have tried different retinal products in the past, & they all made my skin extremely dry, with peeling & flaking. This product was very gentle and hydrating. After 5 weeks of use, I believe it made a positive difference evening out my acne scars & redness.

So happy with this retinal. I've either used retinols that are too strong and very rough on sensitive skin (no matter how slowly I introduced them) or products with such a low formulation of retinol it seemed a waste to even include them. I saw real results with this- not so much in terms of fine lines or wrinkles but it helped even skin tone and faded some acne marks I had picked out really fast. No dry patches either and my skin feels super soft! It's also just a nice addition to my skincare routine. I'm able to use it almost daily at this point and it pairs wonderfully with my other skincare products. It's refreshing and lightweight, almost jelly-like? Not at all a heavy or greasy serum that weighs you down and no pilling!! Thank you Krave Beauty!!

I have really enjoyed using this retinal! I have struggled to tret and other strong retinol products. While this didn’t provide as much firming as tret, it was so gentle that I was able to use it almost every other night. At the end of the day consistency in skincare is key. I did notice my skin was more smooth and glowy the morning after using this at night. I do feel like it helped to decrease the size of my pores as well. I am prone to hormonal acne and this did not exacerbate it whatsoever. Overall, I would recommend trying this if you have sensitive skin or have struggled to tolerate stronger vitamin A products.

This is a very interesting and well formulated retinal which is mixed in an oil base (even though it’s not oily at all). I love the texture and feel of this product on my skin, it just melts right away. I have applied it mixed with my moisturizer or even straight after cleansing and it is most gentle retinal product ever! It won’t break you out or cause any dryness at all whatsoever like other retinol/retinal might cause. Seriously the absence of flaking and dryness was just such a welcome relief! Highly recommend this product especially if you’re starting your retinal journey!

I’ve been using this product for a while and noticed a visible improvement in my skin tone. It really helped reduce hyperpigmentation and fade post-acne marks, which has made my complexion look more even. My overall skin texture feels smoother as well. However, I didn’t notice much of a difference in shrinking pore size.

I have tried a few retinols before, but I have acne-prone and sensitive skin. Every time I try a retinol, it itches and I can't stand using it for more than a week. This one is different! I didn't have any bad reactions and after breaking out for a week or two, my skin got so much clearer! I really noticed a difference when I put on makeup. My coworkers asked me if I used a new foundation because of how smooth my skin looked! Highly recommend for anyone looking to try retinol for the first time.
