I feel so dumb. I bought this product from Krave a while ago, and I love it. I can't wait to buy it again even. I've never really felt that any one product qualified as a "holy grail" product for me until this one. I bought it for the first time at the end of October, right around the same time that they changed to a new packaging. This new bottle is actually really cool. It is able to dispense the perfect amount for application with minimal components so the pump can be easily disassembled for max recyclability. This is done by holding the product in that water-ballonlike silicone piece so as you empty the bottle, it pushes more product to the top as in a vacuum. No spring required. So cool. Here is the thing though. You will notice on the bottle, it says to NOT to unscrew the pump. I saw this as soon as I recieved the product and made note of it. I didn't see the inside of the bottle because of the wrapper, although I wish I had just taken that off just to avoid the resulting mess. After a while of use, when I held the bottle I could feel the inner container shake. I could see something in the bottom, so I knew there was a separate container within the bottle, but didn't realize the actual function until it was too late. I just thought that the wobble was from an inner bottle coming loose and that I needed to retighten it or it might fall into the bottle. Or what if the inner bottle broke during our recent travel and I needed to rescue the remaining product? I'm now realizing that with use, the balloon will shrink and will have more room for movement. Oh boy. Don't do this. I unscrewed the bottle, and the bukkake-like scene that resulted was just indecent. It went everywhere. All over my hands, the counter, the bottle, the floor, the walls. Panic. I tried to save as much of the product as I could, but there was aa lot of waste. Even trying to get an empty bottle was messy because it was all over my hands. This was an expensive mistake. Unfortunately, I suspect that part of the reason for the vacuum may have also been to keep the mixture from destablizing upon exposure to oxygen, so I'm worried that what product I was able to rescue may go bad shortly. TLDR: Good Product, Innovative Packaging, Pornographic Mess Upon Failure to Follow Instructions

The packaging exploded it when it came, and I have the old packaging which I loveeee, but this new one I’m not so excited about. The last packaging was full all the way to the top, this one is not so much and it doesn’t seem like is the same amount!! Either way will see how it works in time!

If you’re skeptical about buying this product then please read my review first. I’m just like you, I was using harsh products on my skin because I thought it would help my acne go away but did it…. NO! It just made everything worse by DESTROYING my skin barrier, drying out my skin till it was peeling and oily, causing even more acne because of how irritated it was and making my face redder than a tomato! 🍅 I was so self conscious and my confidence crumbled. So I decided to do something about it! I went on YouTube and came across a skincare video by Hyram and in that video he highly recommended this product! After that I looked into it a little further and decided to get it. If anyone is concerned about the price let me tell you HONEY THIS PRODUCT WORKS trust me!!! Wouldn’t you rather spend a little more on your skincare to have clear, healthy skin? Plus most serums are usually up to 100$ and more! So I honestly thought this was an amazing price also the bottle is much bigger than I expected! This product took about 5 days to get to my house with the free shipping and it was definitely worth the wait! So here’s my overall review. It’s a 10/100! Thanks to this product my skin is on the way to recovery from the damage I’ve put it through! These pictures you see are from two weeks of using this product, It’s repaired my skin barrier WAY FASTER than I expected and I have zero complaints! I have tried so many different products without having the results I wanted. I had some problems with acne and went through some treatments that left some acne marks on my face. My skin is really sensitive and often gets irritated so that is why I have trouble with most of the products. But after trying GBR for more than two months now I can't stop using it! I finally found a gentle product that gives me the results I want. I love it!!

I've been struggling with cystic acne for about 10 years. I never really had acne as a teenager but really started struggling with it in my twenties. I'm 30 now with normal to dry skin. I've been using this product pretty regularly for the past 6 months and I've noticed a big difference. This has been the first product I've ever used in the past 10 years that has finally made a difference in the way my skin looks and feels. I've tried so many other products, too many to remember, and nothing ever worked. But once I started using this, with a simple cleanser, and light moisturizer, I began to see noticeable results. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you're stuggling with something similar.

With PCOS I experience pretty severe hormonal acne, and with it comes extreme sensitivity, redness, and scarring. My sister was the one who suggested I give GBR a try. I've been using it twice daily ever for two years and swear by the results! My skin is smoother, less irritated and red, and my scarring is significantly healed. I still experience breakouts, but with this I never have to worry about the scars or redness, and am more than happy to pamper my skin with this product, knowing it works for me.

I bought this a while ago to try out. Sometimes I use it in place of my moisturizer, sometimes I mix it in. Either way, for someone with dry skin, this product has been a HUGE relief. I recently had a terrible eczema outbreak on my eyes and decided to test this out to see if it would help (my skin is extremely sensitive during an outbreak). It worked WONDERS! The pictures I attached are only 48 hours apart, I'm beyond happy and relieved! *My routine was to clean the skin with a gentle scentless cleanser, apply Great Barrier Relief, and then layer a bit of a natural ointment.

Years of destroying my face with brands full of chemicals claiming to resolve all of my acne problems, when all I needed was to listen to my face’s plea for a good moisturizer and natural cleanser. Not to be dramatic, but GBR saved my face. The first pic is from Feb 2021, before I started using the product, and the second is from April 2023, after using the product almost every day for the past 2 years. I didn’t do a great job of capturing the actual timeline of progress, I’d say I started noticing a difference just 2 months after I started using GBR and the progress just kept getting better over time. I do think the product smells like carrots, but guys, it’s all natural and it’s worth it - fragrances can cause some major irritation. If it really bothers you, pro tip is to do your skin routine right before bed because the smell is gone by morning. I use two pea sized amounts every night right before bed/after washing my face with another clean brand cleanser (I’ve found the scrubbing beads are the most effective for me, otherwise I would try Krave’s cleanser as well). About once a week, I use Kale-Lalu-yAHA instead of my usual cleanser, just to shake things up a bit and brighten up my face. On another note, I’ve also started using Beet the Sun (I’m so happy it’s available again!!) as a daily moisturizer/sun protection. Before BTS was available again, I used another clean/gentle daily moisturizer with sun protection in its place. I wanted to share my story because I used to be so insecure about my acne and it felt like no matter what I tried, my face would just get more irritated. Thank you, Krave Beauty, for helping me feel confident again. I now get compliments about my skin “glowing” and I honestly never thought I’d get to that point in my skin care journey.

I used GBR a few years ago and it was fine. I rebought it in 2021 and i opened it 2 months ago. I have used this second bottle 3 times, the first two my skin was super red soon after applying this but I didn’t thought GBR was the problem. Today i put it on its own and this is my skin 2 hours later. The expiration date is 2024 and it is fine 12 months after the first use. As I thought this wasn’t the problem I reordered it last black friday. I don’t know if the batch i am using is wrong but I don’t think i am going to try the new one. The first picture is right now and the other is from the previous day I used this.

LOVE IT!!! this product calmed down my redness and it leaves such a nice feeling and texture. I use it twice a day, once in the morning and once in the night. I’m on my 3rd day of using this and i already see a difference! would definitely recommend this!!

I was so frustrated with my skins texture so I started to over exfoliate by using tretinoin twice a day I also did a chemical peel less than two weeks apart… yes I know that was stupid! I did my research on different products that help rebuild my skin barrier and came across this product on several YouTube channels and the reviews were great! So I’m happy to say that my skin is looking absolutely better everyday… I’ve been using this product for 3 weeks and I’ve seen mind blowing results!! I still have a way to go but with using Great barrier relief everyday, I know it’s most definitely not far away!

I love this product and have repurchased it many times, however, I have to give it four stars because of the new packaging. I think its a cool concept but still needs some work. It does say on the packaging not to twist the cap, just to pull it off, but it naturally twists as you try to pull the cap off. Mine must have gotten too loose, and as I was trying to pull the cap off the whole thing came apart, with product exploding everywhere. I sadly lost the majority of it in the sink and over my hands, be cautious when using this. If I decide to repurchase, I’ll be more careful next time.

I bought this because I have a dry skin, with a little bit of acne here and there (blackheads, a few pimples but nothing crazy). I thought this product would be great because it has so many great reviews. It did moisturize my skin, but after around 3 weeks of using 2 pumps day and night I broke out terribly. I’m talking huge pimples, with no head that were very painful. It reminded me of what I’ve heard about cystic acne which I’ve never had. I think my skin must have reacted to the tamanu oil. I haven’t been using it for the past week, and my skin is getting better really slowly. I’m so disappointed I spent so much on this, and that their return policy is only 1 week! How am I supposed to know whether or not my skin likes something within a week. Ridiculous. I have some pictures of my skin at it’s worst from this stuff. I wish there were more reviews on here of people’s bad experiences and maybe I wouldn’t have bought it.

I love this serum and am currently in my 4th bottle. I use this everyday. I am 47 and my skin glows. People think I am 10 years younger than my age. If you use tretinoin or any kind of retinol I highly recommend this. It really does protect your skin barrier plus it gives a brightening effect. When I started to use this in my routine is when I noticed all the irritation, little bumps, etc.. go away. My daughters are in their 20s and they also use this so it works well for all skin types.
