i would always use tampons. never pads, they gave me rashes. but after a while of being completely annoyed by the process, $ (of both buying them and toilet paper to wrap them in to dispose of), and just the general health issues - this was crazy. i called my sister and told her she had to buy one, i think cups should be way more popular than they are!!! especially this one, my boyfriend bought me the wrong size (2 instead of 1) at walmart, and they reimbursed me with a size 1 free of charge! absolutely amazing company. i love flex so much !!!!!! ugh!!!!!

Literally writing this on day one. UK reviewer and the delivery of this happened to arrive on the first day of my period so I got to try it the following day after a thorough clean! I’ve tried mooncup which is quite rigid (& possibly too big for me) but what appealed for me here was the pull tab (because I kept pinching the inside of my vagina trying to find the stem on the other one). It was such a relief to wear today, I had a teeny bit of leaking (nothing that a panty liner can’t manage if I’m not wearing period pants) and I think I’m still getting used to the fit but the removal! Oh my goodness, it was what I had hoped. The stem is comfortable to wear and easy to remove. I even managed to insert it whilst my 3 year old was nattering away to me. It was slightly tricker to insert because of the inside stem so was harder to have in place but I’m confident I’ll get used to it. I have had some difficult gynae issues so not the best at doing anything internal. I now have confidence using this cup (probably still only on my heavier days) and am not dreading going on holiday now!

I bought this cup a year ago and felt the need to come leave a review because I truly don't know what I would do without it. There was a learning curve at first but after a few months I mastered it and can go all day leak free. No smell, no running out of tampons, no dealing with your period all day - I just have to change it once in the morning and once at night and I'm good to go! The tab makes removal easy and I can't feel it at all if it's in correctly. Stick with the learning curve and once you master it you will thank yourself!

This was a game changer! I work in a field where bathroom breaks are far in between and this decreased stress with this lasting me between 10-12 hours depending on my flow that day. It did take a few hiccups with my first time using it during my monthly period but now I feel confident.

My first time with a cup & it some trial and error. I thought it just might not work for me at first.. but the key was inserting it more parallel than perpendicular to the ground. Way more comfortable, lasts much longer without leaking, more affordable & sustainable than a tampon. Don't give up!

I wanted to love this so badly. I’ve been using menstrual cups for about 8 or 9 years now, and have never had such issues with leaking until using this cup. I make sure it suctions/seals properly, it feels fine and comfortable but.. within an hour of wearing it out of the house for the first time it began leaking so badly I had to run to the bathroom during a work meeting to take care of it. This cup is terrible. At home I didn’t notice it as badly because I wasn’t up and walking about as much, but once I started walking to work from a parking garage I could feel it start gushing out. After a full day of wearing this I just can’t. I’m so embarrassed and will be trying a different brand. I wish I could get a refund.

Gone is the discomfort of tampons and pads! Leaks are almost a thing of the past, too. I keep two so it's easier to change one, then clean the other and let it dry before it gets used again. My only complaint is that when my original cup gave up the ghost, it did so by the pull tab breaking while I was trying to remove it. I had to figure out how to get it out without the pull tab, which was a bit harrowing! Still, the lasted for several years, and I've already ordered a replacement.

I really love the flex cup. I've tried to use cups before but found them very difficult to remove so was really happy to find one with a pull tab. I have given it 4 stars rather than 5 as my cup has started to become difficult to remove - the tab comes further through than it should and then gets stuck the wrong side of the cup. It is fixable but very annoying. I can't find anywhere to ask how to stop this from happening - if I don't keep pulling then it won't come out at all!

I was looking forward to trying out the cup because it removes like a tampon and seems like less mess. I have used the disc for a few months. The disc is easy to put in, can't feel a thing once inserted, but it's gross to take out. The cup on the other hand was extremely painful to insert. I ordered the size 1 and knew it wouldn't fit just by looking. I tried all kinds of folds and positions and eventually gave up. Back to the disc it is.

I’ve use my flex every period for four years and am only now coming back to buy a replacement. This cup is a dream!! So easy to get in and out, can go a whole day without changing it. Worth every cent.

Lasted about 2 years before the pull tab broke and the seal stopped being tight, but that's still a pretty good time. The tab sticking out can be uncomfortable if you end up dry during your period, but that's the case with all menstrual cups I think. Good enough to buy again, so good enough for 5 stars!

I like that I’m not wasting as much for products but I still have to wear other means when using the cup because I get leakage around it every single time. That’s frustrating as I was hoping I would be able to utilize just this product and not have to rely on other things as well

First month was interesting at times, but second was so much better! Being able to work on things outside and not worry about stopping every hour has been amazing! I know it will be even better next cycle.

I work 12 hour night shifts in a clean room, so when that time of the month comes along those days are uncomfortable, especially since I only take one break. I only wore pads up until now so it was definitely intimidating shoving a wide cup up there, despite being the smaller size. The punch-down fold method is definitely the easiest way to insert. The difference this made is amazing! You can definitely still feel it the first few days of using, especially if the pull string moves perpendicular to your folds or is too low. But not having to deal with that dirty diaper feeling anymore is a game changer. I no longer feel dirty and sick down there after wearing pads for a while. It’s nice to just be dry all the time. Haven’t experienced any leaks, either. I do have to use a mirror and sit on the edge of my bathtub when inserting and removing. I’ve been so afraid of down there my whole life I’ve never looked at myself before, let alone stick my hands down there. But this cup has given me a little more self confidence. Still gross, but makes my life more comfortable.

I have used other menstrual cups, which were traumatizing to try take out. It would take me upwards of 20 minutes with breathing exercises to take it out, often leaving me lightheaded and having to lie down. I cannot believe how easy Flex is to use. I honestly can’t believe it takes less 15 seconds to remove, without any discomfort.

I cannot say enough positive things about this product. I was an avid tampon user and hated using pads. I wanted a product that was reusable and could stay in longer. I saw that the Flex cup sits in the same part of the vagina as a tampon. It definitely took a few tries to insert for the first time and is messy to remove. This is my go to period product! I tell all my friends and coworkers to try it too! I tried the disc but was scared with how far it goes up. I am perfectly content with the Flex cup and will continue to use this. I 100% recommend this to anyone who is ready to move on from tampons and wear for 12 hours!

Neither of the flex cups are the right size for me. I tried size 2 first since I have given birth twice. The suction and width was right, it was just too long and stuck out the bottom. With the flexfit guarentee they sent me size 1 to try for free but that one didn't work either. It was the right height but too skinny and it fell out as I walked around at work. Thank goodness I had a back up pad on! Hopefully in the future Flex Cup will come in more sizes since I really liked the pull tab design. I need a shorter size 2. I only used each cup one time so I also wish they had a recycling program so I didn't have to throw both cups (and my money) away.
