This is the perfect little trio to try a variety! My favorite is the chili oil, so delicious on so many things. I’ve loved both the chili and the mushroom on pasta, breads/sandwiches, salads soup. The plain cooking oil is great to cook anything with. It seems less ‘greasy/oily’/heavy than any other you would typically use. No strange flavors or aftertaste and fun to try something new. Will be repurchasing, very tasty.

Rigatoni alla Vodka✨ Ingredients: 1 pound rigatoni  1 pound ground Italian sausage 2 shallots, minced  2 tablespoons olive oil 2 tablespoons butter 1/2 cup tomato paste  1/4 cup vodka (2 ounces) 6 cloves garlic, minced  1 cup heavy cream  1/2 cup grated Parmesan  1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes  Salt + pepper  For topping: chili oil + Parmesan   Instructions: 1. Boil pasta in salted water, cooking for about 1 minute less than instructions on box. Reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain pasta.  2. Using the same pot that had been used to cook the pasta, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned, about 7-8 minutes.  3. Add in the shallots and cook for 2-3 minutes. Next add in 1 tablespoon of butter. Once that is melted, add in your minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.  4. Stir in the tomato paste and cook until it has deepened in color, about 5-7 minutes, stirring often.  5. Pour in the vodka and stir. Cook until all the vodka has burned off and there’s no liquid remaining in the pan.  6. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring until smooth. Add in the other tablespoon of butter and the chili flakes, stir, then season with salt and pepper to taste.  7. Add your pasta to the sauce and toss. Add your pasta water in small increments at a time, stirring until the pasta is evenly coated and the sauce is your desired consistency. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and a splash more of the pasta water.  8. Serve with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan and your choice of chili flakes or oil. This Thai Green Curry Noodle Soup from @Carly’s Cookbook 🤌🏼 is perfection✨ Ingredients: 1 pound chicken breasts, cubed 3 tablespoons Thai green curry paste  2 tablespoons olive oil  1 can coconut milk  1 tablespoon fish sauce  2 teaspoons brown sugar  3 cups chicken broth  Juice of 1/2 lime  1 yellow onion, diced  1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced  1 Fresno or jalapeno pepper, diced 1 Japanese eggplant, halved & sliced  1 cup mushrooms, sliced  3 cloves garlic, minced  4 ounces vermicelli noodles   Salt + pepper  For topping: basil, cilantro  Instructions: 1. In a large pot, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Add cubed chicken. Season with salt and pepper. Sear until golden, about 3-4 minutes. Set aside.  2. In the same pot, add 1 tablespoon olive oil then add in the onions. Sauté for 3-4 minutes then add in the garlic, sauteeing for another minute.  3. Pour in the coconut milk, chicken broth, Thai green curry paste, fish sauce, brown sugar, and lime juice. Stir to combine.  4. Add in the bell pepper, jalapeno (or other chile of choice), eggplant, and mushrooms. Simmer for 12-15 minutes.  5. Add in the vermicelli noodles and cook for 3-4 minutes until the noodles are soft and cooked.  6. Top with fresh basil and cilantro. These @Momofuku Spicy Chili Noodles paired with steak drizzled with @Algae Cooking Club Shitaake Mushroom Oil is a match made in heaven 😍 Ingredients: 2-3 packs of @momofuku goods Spicy Chili Noodles + sauce packets  1/2 pound skirt steak  Salt + pepper  2 tablespoons oil For topping: chopped green onions and Shitaake Mushroom Oil Instructions: 1. Cook Momofuku noodles according to package.  2. Season skirt steak with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat oil in a grill pan or large skillet over medium-high heat.  3. So glad they came out with this trio set so we can try all the oils. Algae oil has a neutral, slightly buttery, flavor and a high smoke point of 535°F.  I absolutely love the regular and Shiitake Mushroom flavors! Gochugaru spinach and artichoke dip Ingredients: 1 tbsp Algae oil 3 cloves garlic, minced 6 oz fresh spinach  4 oz fresh arugula (or use all spinach) 14 oz can artichoke hearts, drained & chopped 1-2 tbsp Algae Cooking Club Gochugaru oil (more or less to taste) 8 oz cream cheese, softened ½ C sour cream  1 C shredded mozzarella (plus more for top) ½ C grated Parmesan ½ C grated Gruyère (plus more for top) Zest of 1 lemon  Salt + black pepper, to taste In a large skillet, heat your algae oil over medium-low until hot. Add your garlic and saute until soft and fragrant, 3-5 minutes. Add you spinach and arugula and cook until everything is wilted down and bright green. Transfer to a cutting board, let cool slightly, and then roughly chop it.  To a large bowl, add your softened cream cheese and sour cream and beat to combine. Add your lemon zest, spinach garlic mixture, chopped artichokes, and gochugaru oil and mix to combine. Then, fold in your cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste, and more gochugaru oil if needed.  Transfer to a shallow baking dish and smooth the surface. Cover with remaining cheese and bake in a 375 F degree oven until golden and bubbly, 20-25 minutes, finishing with the broiler to get it extra bubbly.  Serve hot.
