I purchased this watch as a special gift for my husband from our boys and me for Father’s Day. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged and scratched, which was extremely disappointing—especially since I had it engraved to mark the occasion. I was under the impression that the watch was made from wood and reclaimed whiskey barrels, so I found the type of damage surprising given the materials. I reached out to customer service and provided photos of the damage. I was then told that a replacement part could be sent, and I could have it repaired locally by a jeweler. I’m very unhappy with this proposed solution. Given the cost of the watch, I don’t believe it’s fair to place the burden of resolving this issue on the customer. I respectfully request that a full replacement watch be sent, as this was meant to be a meaningful and intact gift. Thank you.

My husband loves this watch! I found Original Grain and instantly knew one of the watches would be my next purchase. So many styles to choose from! I decided on the Sapele for the unique woodgrain inlays. Ordered with the engraving and it turned out awesome! He was totally surprised and so excited to have such a unique watch. I loved the watch so much when it arrived, I order another watch in the next week. The second one just as amazing as the first & I have already asked my husband to pick out the next one he wants for his collection! Customer service was prompt to respond & resolve issues with adding the extra links. If you are thinking about purchasing, go for it, you will not be disappointed! The watches came in beautiful boxes, but I also ordered a display box that husband loved! Be sure to add one of those to your order so these amazing watches can be displayed.

The watch is beautiful but does not time worth a crap. I took it to a jeweler to have the battery replaced and they said the battery was good. I was told by them that the only reason the watch does not keep time would be the movement. They also could not put the back on because it was warped. I am not terribly impressed by the cost of this watch and the poor quality I have seen!

The wood is beautiful and I chose this style because Sapele wood is a symbol for healing, focus and calmness. The craftsmanship is exquisite. I ordered it to be engraved and we had a little hiccup but the OG team got on it right away. The replacement watch is exactly what I wanted and I can't wait to give it to my man!
