One of my new favorite whole bean coffees! No surprise because I love the medium roast performance mushroom and Focus coffees. I have an espresso machine and wanted something to use for a variety of coffee preparations. The beans look really high quality. I used to only buy from local roasters, but I like supporting this brand and wanted to give the whole bean a chance. Glad I did! The beans resemble the "specialty grade" beans I used to buy. Perfect medium roasts, slightly sweet and medium bodied.

It's a great tasting medium blend. You need less than other brands for a strong cup. But once you get it right, it's a great cup. I've ordered twice and on my 2nd bag over the last 2 weeks. I'm a beliver now! It's definitely going in my subscription order. BTW, I got whole beans and grind just before making the daily brew. Great aroma too.

Love this coffee. You will taste the difference. I made it without telling my family I switched brands and they all said how great the coffee was. I was then able to share that it was Laird. I’m hooked now and because of tha, subscribed. The quality is top notch!!!!

I used to work in specialty coffee for a number of years. My shop roasted their own beans, and continually came out with new blends. These beans are now the only beans I will buy. The quality of espresso I got from these beans was unlike anything I'd seen before. The flavor was well balanced yet assertive, the aromas reminded me of when my dad would make coffee on the weekends when I was a kid. Knowing that these beans are ethically sourced, and of the highest quality makes me want to purchase these on a regular basis.

I have never tried this coffee myself. However, I have purchased it more than once as a gift for a very discerning friend of mine with superlative taste. The report is always most excellent. Shipping and price are always excellent service. The one thing I would ask again that Laird change is to offer a gift option (hide price and add a note to recipient) when I make my purchase. Every other aspect is always spot on. Cheers, Laird team!
