As a makeup artist I can say that it removes the remains of waterproof makeup and the makeup is diluted very well, however when applying water I thought it would emulsify and I had to wash with soap to remove it.

I got the smaller-sized (50mL) bottle of this product, and it's very effective at removing makeup. The mist is very fine, so it is not squirting out in a stream like some nozzles do. I did 3 sprays to fully cover my face, let it sit for about a minute while I cleaned up the sink, and put the cap back on, rubbed in circular motions to remove makeup, and then washed it off with water. I went in afterwards with my regular facial cleanser. It removed all of my foundation, mascara, brow product, and waterproof eyeliner. I really like this! You only need a few sprays on your face, rub it, let it do it's magic, and then wash off with either water or a wet towel (I used a disposable towel).
