In Southern California we can grow a lot of fruit tree varieties but we struggled with very hot and dry summers. I am always looking for effective ways to keep all my tomatoes pants and trees well watered, this is high quality, and looks amazing! It’s the perfect effect addition to my Vego garden system.

They give my fruit trees lots of room to breath and room to plant comfrey at the base. The auto waterer definitely a plus in the hot weather! I ordered 4 more!!

The tree rings were easy to assemble. I'm not using the water ring, my trees are too far from a water source and it is just easier to haul buckets of water. The tree rings keep the mulch from blowing away and protect the trees from an out of control Weed Wacker. And they look very nice.

Fairly easy but time consuming with number of screws/bolts. Most difficult thing was peeling plastic liner off! I bought two 9 in ones and two tree rings.
Started w cardboard to act as weed deterrent. Then small sticks, brush and then gardening soil. Large ones take a lot of soil. Planted azaleas in one and will transplant rose bushes to the other.
Tree rings placed around new dogwoods.

I don’t use the watering ring. I planted a Meyer lemon in ring and find the watering ring cumbersome to fill and worry about my tree in hot sun.

Everything is well packaged and arrived with no damage. Instructions are easy to follow, and the assembly process went smoothly. Removing the plastic from the metal is a little tedious but worth it to not have the paint all dinged up before assembly

I love these kits. Rain in Oklahoma is always unpredictable and hand watering in unfriendly weather is not fun. We fill these water bags and walk away to do something we would rather spend our time on. The planter is awesome. We have had 7 very young trees given to us and there was very little digging necessary. We dug down enough to rough and fluff the ground beneath the organic (microbial and mycelium we added to the) rich soil we planted them in. We watered deeply with the watering pouches. They help us feel more secure about tree’s chances of survival.
