My daughter has been super into the original Little Mermaid, so I thought this would be a great addition to her collection. Based on the description, it said the songs and story were based off the original Disney classic. I took this to mean it would be from the original movie. All the songs are from the live action movie which is not what I wanted. My daughter won’t listen to it, because she says the songs are weird. We’ve never seen the live action movie, so the songs do sound strange- especially Ursula‘s song. Just not a fan. The description of the Toni should make it clear which movie it’s from.

We're huge fans of the Little Mermaid and were so excited to add this Tonie to our collection. However, the singers sound nothing like the originals, like not even close. It's a real disappointment and frustrating.

The only complaint I have about the Little Mermaid tonie, is that it is obvious that the voices singing are not the original characters. That was kind of a downer. But other than that, it's very cute!

My toddler loves this one!! Voice is great, songs are great, and she loves the story too. Though the vocals aren't the same, they do such a great job that it doesn't matter.

Absolutely love Little Mermaid. We listen to this every night. All the songs are at the beginning and then you have the story. This is a pretty short version of the story so perfect for bedtime.

Our girls love Little Mermaid, so I thought they'd love this tonie. The songs are from the cartoon movie, but the voices don't really match the original movie characters. Usually, they try to match up the voices pretty well, but this one is just okay.
