This is was my first Toniebox. It was very easy to set up. My kids love the characters. The figures are kid-proof, which is a plus for me.

My kids, ages ranging from 11 months to 8 years old, love it so much! I love that they have tonies for each of their ages. I wish we would’ve bought one sooner.

The “first use” experience is so annoying that had I know I wouldn’t have bought it. First, it requires you to download an app just to get it going. The app doesn’t control the volume or keep track of the battery charge. Immediately out of the box, I had issues with volume being too low and needed a random Reddit thread advice about turning it upside down and resetting to fix it. The “tap on the side to switch songs” doesn’t really work, so I’m just patting it numerous times at various angles to hit it “just right” . A button for that would be better. All that said - my toddler really enjoys the box, but the poor initial experience made me sour.

My 18 month son loves his Toniebox. He puts the Tonies on his self and dances to all the songs. We use it pretty much all day. 😊

I debated getting a Tonie box vs some other alternatives for a while. My tot has a friend who has her collection of Tonies and it seemed to attract his interest during their playdate. We don't listen to each character in its entirety. He has his favorite ones (the Roundup crew, Lightning McQueen, Blippi) and uses the skip function to get to his favorite tracks. The Daniel Tiger Tonie has piqued his interest recently which is steadily making its way into regular rotation. For now, he mostly plays with the figurines while the audio plays. He's picking up on how the controls work fairly quickly and I appreciate the soft, durable case since he can play quite rough with it (gravity is awesome thus every gets tossed through the air). Overall, just an enjoyable activity together and helpful for nighttime wind down.

Got this for my 1. 5 year old and she absolutely loves it! It’s her new favorite toy. Instead of having the TV in the background, having tonies to play familiar music and tell stories has really elevated playtime.
