This product is unusable, and the company was not receptive to my request for a refund or credit. I kneaded the tube (which seemed unbelievably empty), and all that came out was a clear oil with specks of something in it. I took the lid off and squeezed harder and got a tick, unuseable paste. When I contacted customer support they said "oh those beautiful oils"! And told me to set it in the sun or put in warm water, which is ridiculous. I have a baby. I can't believe I am even taking the time to leave a review, but it is that bad. I even tried setting it in a bowl of hot water, and the products still did not combine. Total waste of money and time. It is literally unusable and apparently they won't refund you the exorbitant price for maybe 2oz of unusable product. I loved this brand but will only use when I can't find something comparable. Awful service.

I'm very disappointed. I wanted to love Earth Mama but I bought this and two other products and all three were bad. For this mineral tinted sunscreen, the texture was super grainy and never smoothed out no matter how much you rubbed it together. It was incredibly thick and didn't absorb into the skin. That's probably what made it so hard to squeeze out of the bottle, too. Oh and the smell was terrible. I use a lot of no fragrance products but this actually had a bad scent.

This tinted mineral sunscreen is very subtle and rubs in smooth and even. It doesn't burn or irritate my sensitive eye. I like that it has a little color so I can see where I've applied the lotion and it gives me a nice healthy glow!

I’m really excited about this addition to my family’s sunscreen collection. (This one is for Me. 😄) It has one of the best EWG ratings, without giving me pasty ghost-face—a true accomplishment. I’ve looked for years for that combination. Because of that, I wasn’t actually expecting too much from this, but was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it went on, the scent, and the feel. It feels goooood.

I didn’t like because it is very hard to spread, the skin gets oily and you fill the skin sticky for a long time. I had to remove with a paper towel wet to get through the day. Tried to use in my body to go to the beach and it felt really bad. I won’t use again.

Holy wowsers, I LOVE this improved product. I wanted to love the last one so badly, but it really was so thick and pasty. I actually ended up using what I had by mixing it with Earth Mama lotion just to make it spreadable. This feels like they've done that work for me now! I feel safe and comfy using it on my face, it never causes breakouts or makes me feel gross. And for the first summer ever, I haven't sunburned my cheeks or ears, because I just apply in the morning after I wash my face and brush my teeth! Such a convenient addition to my morning routine. :)

I know there are many negative reviews about this product on here. Trusting that a tinted product will be a good match can be challenging, but this one worked for me (medium skin tone). Yes, the packaging is tricky because the oils can separate from the rest of the ingredients. But I took that as a sign this product isn't full of nasty things for us and the environment. I liken it to oil separation at the top of a jar of natural peanut butter; it's not Skippy. You have to work a little harder to mix it all back together. In my opinion, it's a fair trade-off for peace of mind. I let it soften in warm water and then squeezed some into a reusable glass jar. There is no oil separation after that, so I encourage folks to give it a chance. It doesn't have a fragrance, cause me breakouts, leave a white cast, or dry out my skin, and I haven't used any sunscreen until this one where I can make all those claims. I only use this on my face and neck; a little goes a long way, as it is quite thick. If you're a makeup minimalist like me, the good news is it does cover blemishes and discolorations and evens out my pregnancy melasma, which makes it a win in my book. I hope it works for you!

First impression I was ready to return it! SO glad I didn't...now I feel it is a 5 STAR review, seriously. Some reviews mention the difficulty of squeezing it out of the tube. They are correct, it seems near impossible UNTIL you remove the cap and take it directly from the tip of the tube. The distance from the tip up to the opening of the cap is what feels impossible. I am glad I thought to take the cap off. The SPF doesn't come pouring out but squeezes out like their similar counterparts on the market. I am fussy w/ what I use and hands down LOVE the tinted face stick and now the cream formula. Perhaps Earth Mama can improve upon the cap style to resolve people giving up too soon. It is an excellent product.

I have loved every product from Earth Mama—except this one. The tinted moisturizer seems to have separated and there’s a lot of oil. I believe sunflower oil and it smelled like it had gone bad. Such a shame too because I have been searching for a new tinted moisturizer. I’ll keep looking.

I was hoping to use this to replace a Roche pose tinted sunscreen, but they hardly compare. It’s like a non white version of their other stuff. I’ll use it but probably won’t buy again. Also wish the spf was higher

I love this tinted sunscreen and use it every day. It blends very easily and gives a nice even tone to my skin without looking like I'm actually wearing any make up. I started using this brand as I'm allergic to alcohol which is an ingredient (in some form) in pretty much all other sunscreens. I appreciate how this brand sticks to really good ingredients.

When I first tried using the sunscreen, all that came out was oil. I figured I may need to shake the container for a while and that would help - but it hasn’t. I cannot get actual sunscreen to come out of this container. I am super bummed.

I don't think I've ever written a product review in my life, but I had to warn anyone else thinking about purchasing this - this WILL stain your clothing. I cannot believe they are marketing a sunscreen, which you are supposed to apply to your body, that stains clothing so badly. How are you supposed to wear it??? I just spent the last 45 minutes scrubbing the stains out of a brand new outfit with Dawn soap and baking soda, and patiently waiting to see if the stains will actually come out. Oh, not to mention the fact it is impossible to squeeze out of the bottle, and arrives basically half empty. Waste of plastic.

NOTE that you must heat this up in a small bath of hot water for about a minute for it to squeeze out of the tube, but I LOVE IT. Its smooth, smells nice and feels nice when applied (not cakey or dry). It looks practically flawless on my skin, that I use it in place of foundation when I go to the beach or plan to be exposed to the sun for the greater part of the day. I'm so glad I decided to try this.

I like this sunscreen for my face. It has a nice tint to it but if you apply several times throughout the day it gets a bit cakey. But overall I love it because it’s hard to find a good one that has good ingredients
