This machine sews through mid weight denim with ease! My other old machine broke trying to sew through it. I should have just bought this one first. Also the stitching around rounded corners is easier to sew and looks better on this. People tried to upsell me and im glad I didn't listen and this one did the job and got the machine at huge sale price too.

The first version i received was assembled incorrectly: the plastic body had 2 exposed tabs and did not fit together. The bobbin winder was misaligned and did not work. The needle was too far off adjustment to align it with the bobbin hole, even when taking the cover off and adjusting. The second version was functional but required adjustments and the tensioner seems to stray frequently. The lift arm mechanism in the thread path is not a smooth piece of metal which causes snags with fine threads.

After using the pfaff 130 most of my life I purchased the 4432 for its affordable price, lighter weight for travel and general trust of singer products. Although by no means heavy duty to which I was accustomed, it is very efficient for quick sewing and easy adjustment of tension and varied stitches. A general easy machine for a beginner young or old.

Sooo, I am a newbie. I need a lot of hand holding. I had no idea on which machine I needed or even wanted. Couldn’t tell the difference, other than style and price. To be fair, it don’t really know what’s going on with the machine. I spend more time with threads and bobbins than sewing. Machine has a lot of functions which I go to YouTube for. It feels like it gets stuck when I am able to sew. It just doesn’t feel like a smooth flow. I purchased another one, similar to this one and I absolutely love it.

I bought several machines for my granddaughter. As she got older, I bought the next upgrade machine. A small beginner's simple operator, the next size up with zigzag, then now a heavy duty operating as her dress making skills improved over the last 10 years. Never any problem

Works fine for a standard running stitch, but once I changed to any other stitch the thread would get bound up in the machine and come undone. I tried many different ‘hacks’ to prevent it from happening, but no luck. It still unthreads and creates a mess.

This is my second Singer Heavy Duty machine. I bought a second one so I could sew at our lake place without having to haul a machine back and forth.

I needed to modify several of my denim jeans to be shorter and this was perfect for that. Love the machine's color, ease of use, and stitch options. I love the little light it comes with too so you can better see where you're sewing.

Bought it as a gift to self, very happy I did. Discovered later that my SIL has one and loves it. It's sturdy, has all the bells and whistles for beginner to intermediate sewing, but is also just basic and intuitive. I like that the interior is all metal and not plastic. I think the outer plastic casing could be a little more robust old style plastic, I worry that something could superficially crack it. Maybe that'll never happen though!

This is not a very user friendly sewing machine. You can't even get the plastic cover off of the bobbin case without manually pushing up the presser foot as far as it goes because there's not enough space to get the plastic cover out with maybe breaking it. Also, you have to take off four screws before you can remove the bobbin case to clean up lint which I like to do frequently. Also, it comes with very few accessories. I searched to buy a zipper foot to go with the machine and I still haven't found it. I needed the zipper foot to sew my flanged edges on my pillows, because if I use the regular presser foot that came with the machine when sewing the flanged edge it just knocks the presser foot off. So I had to give up making my flanged edges. I'm going to return the machine, I don't think it's a very good quality like Singer used to be 🙁. Makes me sad because I have used Singer all my life. The sewing repair guy said it's not really a heavy duty machine, that all they did was increase the speed.

I've owned several makes of sewing machines in my lifetime, as I began sewing at the age of 13, but this Singer 4432 machine is the best I've purchased. I am able to sew with confidence that I can be satisfied with the end result. No ripping stitches etc. I love the feel of the heavy duty sewing.

The machine came missing all the items listed on the box - extra bobbins, brush, presser foot, instruction manual. All are missing. Makes me wonder what else is wrong. You need to make this right!!

I recommend this machine! Strong (think denim), plenty of features. Self-buttonholer works perfectly. This is my second Singer. While my older one works fine, I just needed something more capable for tge heavier fabrics.

I bought this in November First thing the machine box was open from one side. And when I operated it, It feels like it is making some weird sound, there should be one sound of machine but I hear two sounds Don’t know where it is coming from.
