It works. The material is similar to a silicone texture so think about animal hairs. I’m actually very happy with it myself as it changed my tile floor from ice cold to room temp by the door. My doors and frames are bad so ignore the painters tape.

Absolutely do not buy this if your goal is to keep cold wind out your front door! I mistakenly bought two 3 pack boxes and it will not stick! The first picture is what I ended up using. The 2nd picture is what happened when I tried to use Alien Draft Seal in addition to one I placed too high.

So far this stuff is great. I have a huge gap around my front door. Everything else I bought wouldn't work. Its firm enough to block a draft but flexible enough to bend.
