Why aren't they more explicit in this model? It doesn't have a switch to turn it on/off. You have to disconnect the cable from the GFCI to change the pump's operation. The connection cable motor is very short, so you have to use an extension cord, and that's not recommended.

Don’t waste your money! The setup instructions are completely unhelpful. This pump is a total waste — the so-called platform it comes with doesn’t even fit properly, and there’s no timer on it so you just plug it in and unplug it to turn it off.
