Only one line ever made a perfect, bright match for my comic book red. There are two cheaper brands who match better but they are a whole mess to deal with. The red color from R+Co still delivers just close enough to cover those intense chemo silver roots while they grow in (so they will certainly work on regular ones) and the product is much easier to use and doesn't transfer and sweat off in 99 percent humidity like we're having (when I needed it most). I have medium brown hair. I purchased medium brown. The color matched my hair well and it stayed put even with going to the gym. Just make sure you give your hair time for the spray to completely dry. The smell was pleasant and not overpowering.

This stuff is great for a quick root cover-up if I’m going to an event but am behind on getting to my salon for gray coverage. I like how it goes on and how it looks but then I can’t touch my hair all day or it gets all over my fingers. It also stained my pillow case but I guess I should have known to wash it out before bed.
