Would be 5 stars if it had a better container. I have brightly colored hair that is at least 5 colors from vibrant to pastel. I change colors every 3 months, so lots of bleach, but my stylist always uses olaplex during the process, plus, I use K18 & quality products, so my hair looks healthy. I don’t like olaplex’s shampoo/conditioner line nor the redken line; however, in general, I really prefer cleansing conditioners. I’ve tried many, but my top 3: biolage was my favorite but it was discontinued, kenra is good, but I really love their color cleansing conditioner b/c currently I use purple to keep my roots colored in between visits to stylist (definitely recommend using it couple times for colors, but not regularly), & unwash is good; however, I don’t love those for regular use. 1st time I used ANALOG, I loved it—product worked great, but even better was my colors were barely affected; I can always tell how products affect my colors b/c I see the colors washing down the drain. However, I really dislike how the container dispenses the product; it reminds me of containers for hair products that dispense gel/cream that foams. It’s hard to dispense a small amount & what’s worse is the product continues to come out after use. I put the lid on it hoping it would stop, but nope; the next time I used it, the inside of the lid was covered in product. For the price, I’d really prefer to be able to use exactly what I need, but that’s not a deal breaker; however, I absolutely hate wasting product after each use. Furthermore, after the 3rd use the top cracked. I haven’t used it since, but today I’ll find out if I can still use it. If I’m not able to use it again b/c of the cracked lid, I’ll definitely never buy it again, but if still works, I’ll probably continue to buy it b/c it’s the best one I’ve used so far; however, sadly, I’m going to continue trying other brands. If this came in a better container, I’d absolutely love it (give it 10 stars) & stop looking for another brand. Overall, I recommend it, but if you’re really on budget, I don’t recommend this. I like to use this in between regular wash days which for me is almost every other day. This preserves my color and leaves my hair soft and manageable without weighing it down. I wish it was a little less $ and I could get more washes out of it because I would use it more than my actual shampoo/conditioner. I still love it though and need it in the rotation!

I tried this product searching for a co-wash, and I truly love this product. The most important items for me are that it rinses cleanly and easily out of my thick, wavy hair, and it gently cleans my hair and scalp leaving my hair soft and manageable with no conditioner needed. I love co-washes bc they simplify my shower routine. I do wish it was available in larger amounts because my long hair will use up this container in 3-4 washes, which makes this too expensive to use. If you have shorter or thinner hair and don’t use as much, this may be a great option for you.

Analog shampoo has been a staple in my shower for years. I started using this cleansing conditioner in place of regular shampoo when my hair was severely damaged from color. It made an enormous difference in my hair. It really did heal my hair over time and helped it to finally grow out smoothly. I use Analog shampoo every other time I wash my hair and my hair is so happy. It is hard to find so buy several bottles when you can. Buy the mini size for travel as it is a foam. Love it!
