This is apart of my morning routine of cold soaked oats. Scoop of horchata gives great flavor and body to accompany the rest of the usual dry ingredients (oats, coconut flakes, chia, walnuts, dark chocolate chips). I can bring it dry when commuting.

I did not think it was possible to have an intense workout and recover so quickly. I wore it as the badge of honor to slug through the next day feeling worn out and sore. Skratch made me a true believer and I now follow the guidance given on the Skratch website regarding calories per hour for intense workouts that go over 60 minutes, like my twice weekly MTB rides. Between the Skratch Super High Carb powder that keeps my muscles fed and working to a high capacity and Skratch Recovery drink, which I carry in a water bottle and take it as soon as I get my MTB loaded and am on the drive back home, I am truly blown away that I can push my performance further and feel capable and strong during the workout and recover quickly with little to no loss of energy the rest of the day and little to no muscle soreness the next day. It is the first thing I go to once my workout is finished and I actually start to think about drinking it my last few miles! After long runs, it can be hard to eat solid foods right away. The Chocolate Recovery Mix is perfect. My first time trying I was surprised by the exceptional flavor. Also, it mixes easily without leaving powdery clumps. The good balance of key nutrients (carbs, protein, potassium, sodium, calcium, vit A, etc) is great to replenish the body after grueling multi hour runs.

I've used the chocolate recovery mix for a few years now. Yes, years! It's perfect: mixes seamlessly with water and tastes great, no odd aftertaste or gritty nonsense. It's a joy to drink, I look forward to it after a ride - it's never a chore to remember and I feel so much better getting it in my system. It gives me time to start recovering right away, until I get home to make real food. I bring a serving in a small container and mix it into a shaker bottle with water post-ride. I find other protein options are gritty or have an off-taste I have to choke down. Not the case with this mix! I'm a huge fan.

Recovery Cheesecake Bites 🍰  A freezer treat that doubles as recovery? Say less. These little cheesecake squares use our Strawberries + Cream Recovery — but you can make them with any Skratch Recovery flavor you love. Chocolate, Horchata, Vanilla… go wild. You’ll need: • 8 oz cream cheese (softened) • ¼ cup Skratch Recovery Sport Drink Mix (any flavor) • 2 Tbsp sugar • ½ tsp vanilla • ¼ cup Greek yogurt • ½ cup diced strawberries • Graham cracker crumbs How to make them: 	1.	Mix softened cream cheese + sugar until smooth. 	2.	Add Recovery mix → blend. 	3.	Add yogurt + vanilla → mix. 	4.	Fold in diced strawberries. 	5.	Line an 8×8 pan with parchment and spread mixture evenly. 	6.	Freeze overnight (7–8 hrs). 	7.	Lift out, cut into squares, and coat each one in graham cracker crumbs. 	8.	Keep frozen until ready to eat!
