Needed this to run speakers in my deck. The cover is thick and durable and the stranded wire is great quality. Easy to strip but the cover seals up well on the wire. Speakers sound great, even at high volume at the end of a 100 ft run. Perfect. Plus it's rated for burial so I'm sure it will last. All at a very affordable price. Well done.

I used these wires to run cable over 100ft into my backyard from an av receiver and they worked perfectly with no signal loss. Time will tell how long they last outdoors but I will be back to update this review incase they fail prematurely.

My old in ground speakers were wired with direct bury low voltage wire. Something went wrong with my receiver and it lost a channel. I'm not sure if a short damaged my receiver (I cut into the wire and it looked terrible) but I decided to replace my speaker wire anyway. This wire has a lot of insulation so I expect it to hold up well.

After less than 2 years, one of my outdoor speakers went silent. When I pulled up all the wiring, I discovered that the black wire at deteriorated (almost to powder). I then cut along five other sections of the wire to see and all of black had corroded. The wire color turned gray (instead of the original copper/gold color) and it would just break off with little touch. Fingers crossed that the other wire to the working speaker lasts a bit longer.

Seems to be decent enough wire. I got the 12/2 CCA version to use as a power wire for a solar GMRS repeater. about 25 feet of this line is running from the charge controller down to a battery that is stored underground. My connections are all soldered on with two layers of head shrink. I also added a PET expandable braided sleeve along the entire length further add protection. It's been out in the Alaskan winter for a few months now.

This is tough stuff. Very abrasion and cut resistant. Be prepared to terminate the ends with enlarged methods, such as heavy unbalanced connectors that will have to be specially made or ordered. The outer diameter is substantial.

This is a quality speaker wire. I used this for two different cable runs from an AV receiver in my basement to two outdoor speakers on my patio. The sound is crisp and clear. The cable was flexible enough to curve in/out of corners. No complaints.

The wire is a little difficult to strip but if you’re able to separate the wire it gets easier to use. I cut the sides of the outer coating and was able to split the wires apart. From there it’s easy to work with. Great quality overall. Definitely would buy again knowing what to do now.
