I love the cleanser. It’s the bottle it comes in I don’t like. First off I’m still trying to get the pump to pop up. Been twisting it in the correct direction and it just won’t open. This happens with other products so not just here. I’ll have to use the pump from my empty bottle. Luckily, I have one. Also, the pump doesn’t get all the product when it gets low. I have to take off the top and pound it onto my hand. Change the bottle and I’ll give it five ⭐️.

Cleansers have either stripped my skin so much it’s made me either significantly more oily or way more dry… this cleanser doesn’t strip my skin at all and has resolved my combination skin! Plus it smells amazing.

I am obsessed with this cleanser, it is hands down the best I have ever used. I have combination skin and it moisturizes my dry areas without making the rest of my face oily. My skin feels so soft and my breakouts are pretty much non existent now. It also smells amazing. I'll never use anything else again.

In my 41 years, I must have gone through about a dozen cleansers that claim to be non-drying and none of them worked until I stumbled upon Mad Hippie's cream cleanser. It is the holy grail of cream cleansers and keeps my dry, aging skin hydrated. I think I might finally be a product monogamist.

Listen, I have bought nearly every Mad Hippie Podcast there is. Why? Because I got hyperfixated on finding a company I wouldn't feel guilty buying from who actually were throughful in packaging sourcing etc. I have finally gone through almost everything and the one thing I can't stop thinking about is this cleanser. I'm 33 sensitive combo skin. My skin hates basically all cleansers. I find that most are too stripping. But after two years and adventuring into other cleansers, this is the procduct I'm coming back for. I used it up quicker than everything else....Also, their vit C is mind blowing.

I've been using all the Mad Hippie products for six or seven years now, and they improved my skin so dramatically in such a short period of time. My skin is dry and dehydrated, yet can still break out. This cleanser cleans well and rinses off thoroughly while leaving it soft and hydrated. Whenever I get enticed to try a different brand (rarely), within just a couple of days I'm back on Mad Hippie, and whatever the other brand did to my skin, Mad Hippie gets it back on track within two days. Now that you're using sugarcane bioresin plastic tubes for some of your products, it's time to use it for your cream cleanser! Please, please! Talking about waste, it's wasteful of product that gets thrown away because you get frustrated and tired of having to shake out the last 1/3 of the product. I would think you have enough complaints by now to listen to your customers! Please put this in a tube! Thank you.

This cream cleanser is super smooth, creamy, and non-irritating. I usually double cleanse in the PM with the Mad Hippie cleansing oil. This cream cleanser also removes eye makeup but the oil deep cleans and takes off anything the cream cleanser cannot take off. This cleanser smells like fresh-cut flowers to me (probably from the orchid extract). I absolutely love the natural scent. It is not stinging and does not irritate my sensitive break-out prone skin. I never thought a cream cleanser would be the answer to getting rid of my blemishes. Doing the double cleanse has resolved my mascne in combination with the other fantastic Mad Hippie products. If the cleanser starts getting low to the bottom I just pour a little bit of tap water into the bottle, mix it up, and this way I can get the rest out of the bottle. Works like a charm. I would love to get this in a smaller travel size or with a pump which can be twisted shut.

I grew up with a mother who sold a major beauty brand who's name is almost like an Olsen twin, so you could say skin care was SERIOUS BUSINESS in my house. Mom started me on anti-aging in college...that serious. I stopped this big brand because they're not cruelty free, and the cleanser clogged my pores enough to give me dermatitis, but I digress. I found this brand searching for cruelty free skin care, and noticed I could find it at my local grocery store (score!), and it didn't strip my already dry skin of natural oils. I'm in my 30s now, so it was important to me to take care of my skin in a natural way, and Mad Hippie cleanser is absolutely perfect. If I HAD to give one critique of it, I would beg for a longer pump in the bottle so I didn't have to dump the last week of cleanser into my palms (please?!)

I love this cleanser. It removes face makeup easily (I use powder mineral foundation) and rinses well and does not leave a film. My skin feels soft and clean and nourished. What I hate is when it gets to one quarter full, I have to leave it upside down in the corner on my bathroom counter, supported by my jar of cotton pads, and then unscrew and remove the pump and shake out the cleanser. It's very annoying. Also, the pop-up pump makes it a real hassle to take when traveling. I usually find something else to bring. Mad Hippie, please, please, put this cleanser in a tube, like the sunscreen.

I never post reviews.. I really don’t. But I absolutely have to write one for this cleanser. I am sort of a cleanser junkie and have tried many! This is by far my absolute favorite. It leaves my skin nourished and it feels healed each time I use it. Please Mad Hippie, never stop making this!!!!! Thank you for making a truly natural and luxurious experience of a cleanser!

I wasn’t sure about this because I’ve had bad reactions to cream cleansers in the past, but I love this cleanser! I noticed an immediate difference in my skin, and am so glad I tried it! The only bummer is that I’m lazy and have always used face wash to remove my makeup and this doesn’t wash away all my mascara.

If you're anything like me, you're probably reading these reviews thinking "what's the catch? Is this product really THAT amazing?" YES IT IS. I never write reviews, but I felt inclined to write this because I know the stress and frustration that comes with trying to find products that truly work. The trial and error of it all can be exhausting, not to mention expensive. My story: I have suffered from mild to severe acne since I was 16 and have tried everything from hormonal birth control to prescription washes and creams. At 25, I've finally found something that works consistently and is affordable and it's all thanks to Mad Hippie. This 4oz cleanser, combined with the Vitamin C serum completely changed my skin. My acne scars are lighter, my skin is brighter (literally glows) and I feel good knowing that I'm using natural ingredients on my skin. I can't recommend this stuff enough. My friends and family are all loyal customers now and I am excited to share this review with others who relate to my story. I have spent years searching for products like the Mad Hippie line and now that I've found it, I will be a loyal customer for life. I enjoyed the scent and creaminess of this cleanser, but I think my skin is too sensitive for any (non-oil) cleansing. I only used it once a day, at night, but it burned a little after the first day and dried out my cheeks. I do not fault the cleanser for this necessarily, knowing that my skin is just particularly sensitive to any cleansing. My husband enjoys it, though! Just know your skin. If, like me, anything other than water seems to irritate you, this might, too.

I recently had really dry skin and tried a number of different products, including many lines of Murad and other high skin care brands, and could not find anything that worked for me until Mad Hippie. This line almost completely got rid of my acne, and my skin is totally moisturized now. It's like I have new skin! I love the cream cleanser. It's really gentle and feels great to wash with. Love love love!!

This cream cleanser is gentle, yet effective enough to remove my stubborn eye make-up (I start with one pump of cleanser onto my DRY skin, and messaging it over my face to dissolve my makeup, then wiping it off with a tissue before splashing my face with warm water and a second pump of cleanser for deeper cleansing). I love how soft it leaves my skin! I have purchased at least 6 bottles of this product and my only complaint is that with each bottle, the tubing connected to the dispenser is way too short.......there is still a quarter bottle of product left, and the tubing doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle, so getting the rest of the cleanser out is just annoying. Please fix the packaging because the cleanser is otherwise excellent

I was definitely skeptical about the cream cleanser... being that I have always used harsh exfoliants and drying facial cleansers, I thought you had to dry out your skin to get it clean. After two months of using the cream cleanser I am HOOKED! I love how gentle it is and the fact that I can actually open eyes while cleaning my face tells how natural it is. I will never use another facial cleanser again! Thank you, Thank you!

I absolutely ADORE this cleanser! You don't need to use a lot of product so it lasts a while which I love. It cleanses your skin while moisturizing leaving your skin soft and supple. After trial and error with a multitude of cleansers, I finally found the perfect one. I won't be without this product. It's amazing.
