Beyond paint provides amazing coverage even on surfaces that don't have the best texture. I refinished an antique vanity dresser that had been painted before. It was impossible to sand in all the crevices but this paint covered everything and left it looking fantastic. I wish it came in more colors!

I used Beyond licorice paint for my bamboo dining room furniture. y'all didn't lie when you said it was thick. the coverage was great. I was worried on the first coat when the roller marks looked like sandpaper. the paint flattend out nicely to create a beautiful finish. the jury is still out on the durability of the product. You say it takes a month to fully cure. I also painted my kitchen cabinets with it. It left a beautiful rich finish. all in all, I would say that this paint lives up to its billing. Mark Shelden

Under the white paper and foil of the cover was a hard black plastic type material. I had to stab this film to get to the paint. Washed and rinsed whole chest. Began application of first coat of Licorice over existing paint, It did not cover well. Will be applying second coat today. Hopefully it will cover better.

My husband said, “That paint is gold,” when he saw the finished cabinet I painted in a weekend. We have several Marketplace finds in the garage and storage, but they collected dust due to the long and daunting process. My husband and I have stripped, sanded, primed, painted, and polyurethaned a few pieces of furniture which have taken weeks with our busy schedules. The Licorice color is smooth and the cabinet is gorgeous. I loved it so much that I continued to paint the kitchen island, our front door, and started painting our interior doors. I ordered samples to tackle the bathroom cabinets and the dated tile backsplash in the kitchen. I’m having fun updating our home and up-cycling old furniture with this incredible product. Thank you!

The color is exactly what I like but the paint does not adhere to everything. It’s not worth it. As soon as I put the second coat on it peeled up the first coat. I let it set for a couple of days. Just go through the process. Sand, prime and paint. My sons are carpenters and said there’s no such thing as a miracle paint. If there was we would be using it at work. It’s sitting in a cabinet. I used it once and I’m done with it.

I bought a second gallon of licorice because I didn't think I would have enough to paint two bookcases after painting my stair railing and a very large dresser but I had enough for the bookcases with some still left so I'll be using this for other projects. Love the ease of use and how it looks so rich when dry.

I am so thankful I found this paint when I did! I was painting over white furniture and I was worried the black paint would not be opaque enough or that it would take more than two coats to fully cover. But this paint covered the bright, white furniture perfectly. The paint looks very thick before drying, but it dries beautifully!!! This is an amazing product and I only have the best things to say about it. I won't use any other paint for home projects!

I had just repaired a black chair and needed to repaint it & add gold detail for a client. I tried three different kinds of “black” paint; two were a chalk-style paint but different brands and one a urethane. ALL turned out dark gray. Unacceptable! I didn’t have any BP Licorice on hand but needed to order it. It came sooner than expected! I used a fine bristle brush and set a fan on it to speed drying. It was deep BLACK!! Beautiful! I will topcoat with a glossy wipe-on poly to mimic lacquer after detailing with gold. I’ll try to submit pictures when I can.

I just used Beyond Paint's licorice to paint my dated, resurfaced kitchen cabinets. It took me 15 hours start to finish with 2 coats applied. Love it! It's like having a brand new kitchen. Well worth the money!

I took on some projects using Beyond Paint and I was Not disappointed in the least! I started off with a wood finish tv/dresser stand that ended up white, then a small wooden chest with 4 baskets that went from wood and beige baskets to white and gray baskets..and also painted a wooden chest with drawers to a stunning deep blue! And lastly, I converted an antique vintage wooden trunk to a beautiful soft gray trunk with a custom created white bench seat. I was quite pleased with my projects because this paint does what it says and goes on smooth for a beautiful finish that doesn't require any sealants. This paint is costly but well worth it!!

Started small with a side table and shelf unit. Love how they both turned out. Have to find the time to do my bathroom cabinets. 👍 Was a little nervous about roller marks, but it dried beautifully.
