This does not do what it says. Thoroughly cleaned by surfaces but they should have been fully prepped…stripped and or sanded. Because I did minimal prep to e paint did not “stick” well. And it definitely needed a top coat!!!

I’m an amateur when it comes to painting wood/wood-esque furniture. However, I have to say Beyond Paint is the best paint I’ve tried thus far (the other two being Dixie Belle and Behr Cabinet). No issues with drips, dries evenly with a beautiful finish! I did listen to the influencers and scuff sanded my project and primed prior to painting. I don’t believe that you can skip these steps if you want a smooth finish (when you don’t own a paint sprayer). This looks awesome! Thanks for the awesome review! Love beyond paint -the product. Do not recommend buying from them direct. Their customer service is terrible. They do absolutely nothing to quickly fix issues with their shipping and leave it directly to you. Their shipping process needs to be improved. They have no insight into an order once you order even though they say you can modify it within 24 hrs. You can’t! And you are expected to receive and pay for returns- a complete waste of efforts and expense on everyone’s part. I changed my mind, tried to cancel before 24 hrs past after ordering, couldn’t, told to either reject the package or get and pay to return to get my money back. Waited 7 days for tracking #- to find out it hadn’t left the facility. Contacted support again to be told I have to contact UPS because they don’t know. UPS investigated- My paint went from PA to CA instead of FL and then was routed to me. Additional 5 day wait. On day of expected delivery was advised that paint was damaged and thrown out and they were going to notify beyond paint. I then contacted customer support again and asked for a refund and was finally given it. To say this was a hassle is an understatement. I would have liked to been working on my actual paint project but instead spent more than two weeks trying to get my money back and was afraid to order the color I wanted for fear of this same problem.

This product is wonderful! I’ve used it to redo my kitchen cabinets and I used sand to refinish a storage cupboard. I had ordered a sample and I love the underlying pink tone. I am using it to paint my door and some of my exterior masonry.

I love this paint. I have used Linen, Poppy and now Sand and I have loved them all. It has kept me from having to buy new furniture.

I really love this paint. I have painted my kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets. The problem I have is you never mentioned anywhere that I can find where you mention you need to use an oil primer first to prevent bleeding of paint. My paint job would have looked better if I knew this. The container and all other info I studied before using this paint says it contains everything you need right in the product. That is misleading and not true. I wouldn't have minded using an oil based primer first if you had made that information available. I finally noticed a short video on you web site that addresses this problem but you would only see the video if you happened to run across it and wouldn't know it even existed. If I use this paint again I would always use an oil based primer first.
