I was pretty enthusiastic about this find. I even requested it for a Mother's Day gift. It was one of those simple things that sparked joy. The size of the cup is just right and the black markings were in appropriate measurements and easy to read. The silicone is durable and doesn't get misshapen or crack with use like the measuring cup that comes with detergent (I add the cup to the load.) Like suggested in the Laundry Measuring Cup details, I add this cup to the wash load for rinsing, then store it before moving the clothes to the dryer. It makes for an easy way to rinse out the cup, not have a sticky mess in the laundry room, eliminates the need to walk into another room with a sink for rinsing, and uses up every drop you've dispensed. Within just a few weeks, the measurement markings have faded and are unreadable. Bummer, that was some of the appeal of this cup is to not overmeasure soap. For $12, I would expect this item to be useful far longer than a few weeks. I would like to see this product improved with a print that is more durable or raised lines that won't wear off. Although the printed markings improve the readability, maybe there isn't a long-lasting marking available and that's why most measuring cups on detergent, measuring bottles for hair coloring, etc. don't use printed markings but rather a raised measuring line. Hopefully that's doable with silicone. The Laundress was good to do a one-time courtesy and send me a prompt replacement. Unfortunately, that solution will only buy me a few more weeks and then I'll have the same problem again.

I appreciate the rubbery material & the fact I can simply drop into the load. I now know that I'm measuring the exact amount needed with each load without trying to wash the cap and getting my hands wet & soapy

Hmmm I’m still a bit stunned at the itty bitty size of this laundry measuring cup. I do love the effective stain removing magic of their stain removing liquid, combined with their white laundry liquid. Just don’t remind me I paid $12 for a tiny measuring cup. Lol

My love of doing laundry coupled with a smidge of OCD really made my time in the laundry room longer than necessary when it came to dispensing liquid products. I struggle with leaving the residue behind in the cap or measuring device so the time spent rinsing and in a way so as to not waste the product was excessive. I'm crazy about this little wonder that I can empty then toss into the wash and forget!!! Thank you to The Laundress for always knowing what I need AND sending it to me as a gift!!!

I love these little measuring cups. I have two - one for my detergents and one for my softener. They rinse out easily when needed.
