Very well made and deep enough to hold a lot of compost for the worms. Like the larger sized holes in the sides. . Hopefully it will last for years and provide a good habitat for the worms.

Larger than expected, so be sure to measure and carve out a space for these. Although it will take up nearly 2’ of growing space, your garden will thank you. I bought some red wiggles and they got to work!

I already have a different brand of worm composter in another raised bed. I have loved being able to break down my kitchen scraps easily through vermicomposting. I just got a Vego Garden raised bed and added their composter to the bed for a greater ability to compost and to help the bed health. The Vego composter is easy to drop into the bed and looks like it will work great. I like that it is a bit smaller than my other one. My only criticism is that the lid is a bit tricky to open. I hope it will get easier with time.

I could not snap the lid on this for the life of me. I spent 30 minutes trying and had to have my brother come over to do it. Exasperating. It is easier for me to assemble a 32", 8 foot long bed than to put this together. Plus, it's bigger than I thought and bigger than I want. It is going to take up quite a bit of space in one of my beds. I think smaller would have been ok, better.

I’ve had so much fun with my composter this first season. My words seem to be happy. I check on them every morning and feed them 1-2x/week. I have it in one of my 3 raised garden beds. My plants in the bed with the composter seem to be doing better. I have marigolds in each bed and the ones in with the worm bin or significantly bigger.

I use these for storing bulbs, and garlic. Nice little bins that can be used for other things as well as worm composting.

It’s a cool idea and it’s sheek, but it is so overpriced. I should have done some more research before pulling the trigger. If I hadn’t already put it in the bed to try out I would have sent it back.

The in-bed composter is plastic. I do not want to introduce plastic into the kitchen garden beds. It is quite large and takes up a signifiant area in a small gardening space. And its installation requires more purchases, so finding it overwhelming, it has not been used yet.
