I’ve purchased the Helm and I love it. Great quality and Ancor love to details is visible …. But the goal is to be a protection case for my Mac, and it does protect almost all of if but not the back 2 bottom corners and I don’t get why the design couldn’t do that ? The corners are the first things to bump if it falls and the bottom ones are the most prone to contact other things ? I would like a case that on top of being beautiful is also perfect protection wise and looks all the details like overheating as things like that.

I’m kinda a purist when it comes to my tech and hate covering up the beautiful design of Apple tech with plastic and bad quality cases. This is the only exception I’ve found. The leather is gorgeous and it’ll protect my laptop for years to come. Travel friendly, slim, everything you could want in a case.

I love the feel of the leather on my Mac, it also makes it look so classy. The reason for my 4 stars is that the fit of the leather to the upper corners of my screen makes the MacBook seem as if it's not closing all the way - which isn't a dealbreaker by any means, it just is a little noticeable when closing the laptop.

The Andar the helm case is probably the most beautiful MacBook Pro case I have ever seen. I got the navy color. If I was going to use a case, I wanted it to be top quality and the Andar the Helm case is definitely that. The only con about this case is probably taking it off. I actually had a small issue with one of my plastic clamps and Andar customer service immediately jumped to help resolve the issue. They sent me a brand new replacement case at no extra charge. If you have the space black MacBook Pro, I do recommend placing a small amount of either electrical tape or a skin sticker either on the plastic clamps or on the part of the computer the clamps go on initially to protect from minor scratches. The case seems to loosen a bit after the first few time applying and removing it so it will get easier to remove eventually. I also recommend the leather cream as it will help develop a beautiful patina. If you want a high quality case to protect or just to decorate your MacBook, I highly recommend Andar the Helm!
