I have used one of Satechi's Wallet stands on my previous iPhone Max Pro and its magnet held securely to the back of the phone. I got the new wallet stand to match my new iPhone 17 Max Pro. They did a good job with the color match but the vertical part of the magnet does not hold as securely as the previous model. It will pendulum back and forth with very little effort. Satechi wasn't very helpful so I ended sending back the wallet stand on my own dime. They can and have done better. I was disappointed in their response.

I have been using the Apple magsafe wallet for long time. I bought this vegan leather wallet just for a change. The design is very smart but the quality is so poor that it is out of shape after like one month light use. Vegan leather maybe is better for the environment, but has to be good enough for people to use it first , right?

This wallet is the perfect companion for my iPhone. It allows me to use the iPhone in two positions : horizontally and vertically. I can also use it as a grip while holding with the phone. The color is beautiful and the material looks solid.

I absolutely love this wallet stand. The magnet is super strong and holds the phone well in either a vertical or horizontal orientation. The wallet holds more than enough for a quick outing. One word of warning: if you overstuff the inner pocket, it will loosen, and once loosened, things can fall out. The description does specify that it holds 4 cards (total), so I blame myself for stuffing three into the inner pocket.

I've tried a few other magnetic wallets that were priced lower and they always broke (the spring would become too loose/snap). This one is perfect and I've had it for years. I recently bought a replacement only because I wanted a different color. Highly recommend. It snaps strongly to the phone and I've never had a card fall out.

Both on and off my phone it looks great! Before seeing it irl I was nervous about the sheen of the faux leather but it’s perfectly pebbled and looks right at home on my leather case. Also really impressed with the strength of the hinge fold stand

It takes only the slightest bump to make the wallet fall off of the phone - like carrying my husband's phone and mine at the same time - when they rub together, the wallet comes off. If I drop the phone, the wallet falls off. I recently lost the wallet because it had fallen off and I didn't realize it. I was so blessed to find it an hour later. But I will never use it again. I thought maybe the problem was my case, so I tested it without the case, and it was not much better. I should also say that it is very difficult to get cards out of it. I have 2 credit cards on one side and my wallet + insurance card on the other. When I try to take a credit card out, the wallet pops off and I have to take both cards out in order to get one of them. And the driver's license compartment is really tricky to use because of its placement around the hinge. The pros: it's really pretty. Great quality vegan leather. I love the look of it. It's just not practical.
