This is sturdy and the mouth opening is a pretty good width. However, keeping foods cold is not it's strong point. I'm also disappointed in how long it keeps beverages or soup hot. I've purchased bottles from other companies that do a much better job. Given Thermos long standing history, I am disappointed in it's temperature control capabilities.
