I am no stranger to AHAs — I had been using glycolic acid for almost 14 years, the strongest of AHAs (and my past personal favorite, alongside my current favorite, lactic acid) until….The game really started changing when I did my diligent research on AHAs, BHAs, PHAs, and other effective acids. Microbead/ crystal exfoliants are a thing of the past - reach for an exfoliating acid serum!! Mandelic acid is an AHA that I had never used in my skincare regimen before 2024. I’m happy to say that I have seen incredible results while using Stratia’s mandelic acid since the very beginning of January of this year, one month ago. Here is my experience with Soft Touch AHA: helps with hyperpigmentation which I have a lot of on my face (melasma), absolutely diminishes a pimple within one use, evens skin texture beautifully, exfoliates the superficial layers of the skin giving you immediate visible results, and does not dry-out my skin nor cause any flaking. I change my skincare regimen every other day. Let’s say Monday morning I will apply Soft Touch AHA with my Lactic Acid serum and top it off with Lipid Gold (I love my AHAs like I said). Monday night, I will cleanse, tone, and apply Stratia’s Retinol cream, Night Shift. Tuesday morning, I will apply Stratia’s Vitamin C, the C+C Serum, follow that with Interface Peptide Moisturizer mixed with a couple drops of the Fortify facial oil. Tuesday night, I will cleanse, tone, and apply Night Shift. I like balance in my skincare routine. I own every product from Stratia’s line and have ZERO complaints, only compliments to the chef. I’m all about the science-backed ingredients and being educated on how these ingredients work on and in our skin. I would love to see Stratia come out with other AHAs treatments in the future, lactic acid being my skin’s favorite! Who knows, maybe Stratia will even whip up a sunscreen for us acne-prone folks that layers easily over the other products. I went on vacation and it made my face break out a little bit, and I had already intended to try Stratia products but, I ordered this along with liquid gold and the eye cream, and I can’t say enough good things! My face cleared up and looks gorgeous. Definitely going to order again.

This is a nice, gentle exfoliating treatment. I have very sensitive skin and typically can’t use any chemical exfoliants, but I can handle this one night a week. The next morning I wake up to glowing baby-soft skin.

I am not one to usually leave reviews, but this product truly impressed me. My skin had been feeling dull and clogged even when using tret and then azelaic acid. This product was a common one to be recommended for a gentle chemical exfoliator. I have to say, I was floored the first time I used it. I woke up the next day with soft, smooth, hydrated skin. It is so rare to buy a product and have it immediately follow through on its promise after the first use, but boy this one delivered. It's important to keep in mind that others may not see the same exact results if their skin is exfoliated more regularly, there may not be as drastic of a difference. But I've continued to be impressed using the Soft Touch AHA once a week. Definitely a new favorite of mine!

I really enjoy using this knowing how gentle it is. I use tretinol and need something that is really easy on the skin. This fits the bill. I will note that years ago, when I was first getting Stratia products, the bottle was larger and I feel, for the price and especially since shipping to Canada is SO expensive, the value is a bit off. I'm not sure that I will order again or try to find something local for this reason :/

I have used acids over the years, up until recently I opted for a gently form of active that it's not glycolic. This gel formula absorbs into my skin instantly, I put interface on top and within a week it had faded a discoloration on my forehead. It's quite gently and I wear it every other day. Love this formula.
