This is an interesting shapeshifter. The opening is a vortex of rose!, incense/wood/smoke!, supersweet honey!, but also a fruity pop (almost tangerine-like?) that comes and goes. A sex bomb of a scent. For me, the burst of rose quickly diminishes, and the scent settles to wood/spice (cinnamon red hot candy?)/vanilla/tangerine/rose, but then dries down to a powdery sweet wood skin musk with whiffs of smoke that lasts 7+ hours on my skin. I was on the fence about this one but will be returning it because I find the drydown too powdery, cloying, and irritating to my nose. I found myself subconsciously trying to move my wrists further away from my face to get some relief from smelling the drydown, so I know this one isn't for me. I won a LIVE giveaway of Oud & Rose on Fire & was sooo excited because I have 3 other scents from here that I LOVE but I quickly learned this is NOT my kinda scent profile🥲 I was neutral about the way it smelled in the bottle but the dry down on my skin smells like burnt plastic & mosquito spray 😭

The quality in these products is really good. I love their perfumes. Problem is my nose doesn’t appreciate some scents. I was hoping this was more of an earthy tone, but it’s kind of too sweet for me.
