The tissue cups arrived in good shape. It was easy to separate the 7 or 8 plants in each cup and plant them. Hasn't really taken off yet in my high-tech tank. I've had to move a couple of them around and they looked to be growing new roots. They aren't melting, but I'm still waiting for them to settle in and take off 4 weeks later.

I ordered a (single) tissue culture of Crypt Parva alongside this and wished that you got as much as you did in this one! You get enough to carpet about a 3in x 3in patch; bigger if you space them out.

I ordered three and they came out perfect. Very lush and green. Hopefully there's minimal melting. I recommend going for tissue culture since it has a strong root system rather than a pot.

Hair grass arrived in good condition with good green color. When I saw the size of the package I thought I wasn’t going to have enough. Once I broke down the plant I had more than enough to get a carpet going into 5 gallon tank.

Easily the best quality and quantity of all 5 plant types I purchased. There were thousands of individual strands, the clumps broke up semi easily, and EVERY single strand of hairs was healthy!! Tissue culture is a great method I guess--washing it all off is tough but there were just so many stems so densely packed. . . You get WAY more than you pay for in my opinion.

Not super green but they were healthy enough. I was able to spread one bunch out in my 2 gallon.

This tissue culture spread surprisingly far. I was very pleased with how much area one cup of Dwarf Hair Grass covered! I bought 1 cup of this (from TBP) and 2 pots of Monte Carlo (from a different vendor) and this DHG is by far the healthier plant! I created a mixed carpet using the two plants and the single tissue culture of DHG covered twice as much area as both pots of MC. Will definitely return here if I need more Dwarf Hair Grass for future tanks!

About this product
Product description
Common Name: Dwarf Hair Grass, Eleocharis Parvulus Mini
Dwarf Hair Grass is an extremely popular and easy to keep foreground aquarium plant that produces a grass-like lawn when provided with optimal conditions. Known for being an aquatic grass, Dwarf Hair Grass features thin, bright green blades that spread horizontally by sending out runners.
High-lighting and Co2 injection are not mandatory to grow dwarf hair grass but implementing this in a planted tank help to promote and increase the growth rate and density of the aquarium plant. Dwarf Hair Grass is a versatile aquarium plant that can also grow submerged or emersed in dry-start aquariums and Wabi Kusa setups. When grown in optimal conditions, Dwarf Hair Grass will grow quickly and frequent pruning will be needed to ensure the foreground stays well-trimmed and low. Dwarf Hair Grass will also willingly travel to all areas of a planted aquarium if given the opportunity!

Notes:
·Tissue culture plants are grown in vitro from a state of the art laboratory specialized in propagating aquatic plants. They provide the best option for those who want to ensure that absolutely zero unwanted pests are introduced into the aquarium.
·Remove tissue culture gel before planting.  Simply wash the gel away or soak the plant in water and squeeze the gel off with your fingers.
·Do not make drastic changes to the aquarium. Unstable parameters will result in melt and rotting of the aquarium plant.
