I almost gave up on my loc journey. I’m a little over a year into my loc journey and I love love love my locs. However, every time I go get a retwist the itch is unmanageable. I’ve expressed this to my loctician and she has stopped using some products hoping that would help and gave me recommendations on products to use to help with the itch to no avail. It’s worse in the winter. I’ve been wanted to try this oil for some time now so when I saw on the description that it calms itching and irritation I bought it. Within 20min of applying it my scalp it felt like it was calm and less irritated. I’m not a fan of the smell but that’s minor to not having to walk around scratching and patting my head. I’m going to try the shampoo and gel next.

I put this on my daughter's loc's and I also put it on my more Caucasians type hair, I put this on my scalp about 30 minutes before I shampoo. I'm hoping for growth but for now it just gives a lot of body and volume to my hair, after I shampoo it out. I love that it's not thick like castor oil, and not dry like coconut oil. Great product, Bravo!

All of the products are as advertised. Does not weigh down hair and is residue free. However, the co-wash isn’t a shampoo it doesn’t suds up. It’s really a conditioner, but it’s great. I use a cleansing shampoo like vanicream then use the co-wash afterwards and leave it in for about 15 minutes. This isn’t really a negative, I wished the rose water and saltwater spray came in bigger bottles (8 oz.) and if you want a firmer hold on your retwists buy the Firm locking moisturizer the regular will hold but not a very firm hold. Locs are shiny, healthy and frizz free. I’m happy with the results and happy I found this product.
