It’s just ok. Nothing special. Harmon Kardon audio products sound better. I’m a bit surprised that this was manufactured by Bose. Seems beneath their quality standards. Also, the manual doesn’t inform you that the HDMI cord must go into the HDMI port 2. Caused lots of extra work. Not worth it.

Back in the 90’s I could calibrate my pioneer VSX 4.1 stereo speakers individually beyond the supplied microphone. That said I’m impressed with the sound bar! They suggest for rooms under 500 square feet and I totally agree. That’s pushing it. I have it in a 16x14 living room. Partially open to the kitchen. Completely open on one side to foyer and dining room. And it’s good. It’s more than sufficient. It’s definitely not 5.1 surround sound but it’s completely an upgrade over my Samsung TV’s downward firing speakers. Not heart pounding base. Buy projects sound well in a well furnished room.
