I am not much for food that is heavy in a sugar taste and this Old Fashioned Jerky hit a home run with me. I let it sit in your mouth and enjoy the flavors. Trying a different flavor Jerky tomorrow, but tomorrows flavor has its work cut out to beat the old Fashioned Jerky.

I've been ordering the Old-Fashioned Smoked Hickory beef jerky for my dad the past couple of years since he can't find the tough, chewy jerky he loves anywhere else. This time around he still loved the texture but found it to be extremely peppery and he couldn't really enjoy it as much. I thought maybe I ordered the Pepper by accident but after checking the packaging it was the original hickory. Hoping for something a little less pepper forward in the future!

The taste of this one and the jalapeno are good but extremely dry to point takes every ounce of saliva plus some to rehydrate so can chew and swallow. When I said I liked dry did not mean this much just did not want slabs that tasted like summer sausage. Needs a little more thickness like 1/16 at least which may give some moisture

The old fashioned was so hard you could barely chew it. It was brittle enough to fold it over and it snapped. The honey teriyaki is very good. Really good flavor. The meat and cheese stick was good but not top of the line.
