·Mix fuel correctly – 25 parts #93 gasoline to 1 part quality 2-stroke engine oil (do not use 4-stroke oil).

·Assemble wheels and handles – follow the simple steps in the manual.

·Adjust depth bar – set to desired tilling depth (start shallow for first pass).

·Pull-start engine – prime the carburetor, set choke, and pull steadily.

·Guide through soil – let the tines dig in; no need to force.
