It's very soft and plush. The velcro back is very nice, and is able to get a snug fit on a petite head. The con is that it's large, and while you can adjust the velcro to fit a small head, it creates large ripples in the cap which makes it less comfortable. They should offer on in a petite size to alleviate this issue. Overall a nice cap.
