I’m loving the 5.75 lb plates, and eventually I’ll work my way up to the heavier weights. Start with lower weight and work up. You’ll be surprised how much of a workout you still get with the lower weights.

The plates are overpriced you can buy same ones from Vevor. The ones on Vevor are almost identical and it’s probably actually the same supplier. Wolf products are Chinese sourced but the company is in USA. Not impressed with Wolf Tactical’s team honestly they couldn’t even follow up on my good review videos or even respond to emails or messages on social media. I guess you gotta be a Tik Tok star influencer or a big name to get their attention. Honestly their bags are ok and it’s comfortable but they’re way overpriced and I do regret spending that much for some metal plates that are cheaper on Vevor website and on amazon.

The plates are very rigid and take some time to get used to. I think I would have lighter with the plates if I had a better idea of how they would feel while in the vest. Overall, not bad, but will take some time get used to.

I thought my training was tough before but these new plates make me feel like a beginner all over again. After a few weeks of adjustment to the new weight my strength and conditioning on the mats has gone through the roof!

The plates slip easily into the back/front under pockets of the vest (once I was able to figure it out lol). You don’t feel them move which I was worried about. I chose this mid lvl weight to see how I would do. I did a 2mile hill walk and it did the trick. I’ll slowly add more mileage and maybe go up in weight down the road but this is a good starting weight for a decently in shape person…. I’ll start doing longer hill walks and maybe go up in weight down the road but don’t let it fool ya the added ~18lbs does the trick.

After months of hesitation I finally got the vest and plates. Best decision. I am built more like a linebacker than a runner. I worried that this would look odd. However it’s not. This combination should keep me busy for a while.

This is my second pair of 5.75LB plates. This is exactly what I wanted. Fits well and easily into the vest. WIth 2 sets of plates I have options on how much weight for a particular workout. East to add and easy to remove. I'm very pleased with the weights and the vest from Wolf Tactical.
