Nice warm feeling over the eyes and not too hot where it burns. No chemical smell either. It helps relax my eyes. I keep it on throughout the night and I feel it does help me sleep better. Would be difficult to wear if u live in a hot or humid area trying to fall asleep it does make u hot.
