How to use on iPhone & iPad?

How to use on Android Phones?

Android phones need to support OTG, and flash drives can be found in the “File Manager” of most Android devices.

Notes for Android Phones

When you receive a USB flash drive, if it indicates that it needs to be formatted after being connected to an Android device, please do not format it on the phone. Instead, connect the USB flash drive to a computer and format it as either FAT32 or NTFS. This is because some Android phone systems do not support EXFAT, and our USB flash drives are usually in the EXFAT format by default.

FAT32 Format

It does not support the transfer of files larger than 4GB.The FAT32 format is suitable for scenarios where high compatibility is needed and mainly used for storing small files. However, it is not very appropriate for storing large-capacity files.

EXFAT Format

It supports the transfer of files larger than 4GB.EXFAT is a file system specifically developed to solve the problem that the FAT32 file system cannot support individual files larger than 4GB. It overcomes this limitation of FAT32 and can effectively support the storage and transfer of large-capacity files. It is suitable for removable storage devices like USB flash drives and external hard drives.

NTFS Format

It supports the transfer of files larger than 4GB.NTFS is a commonly used file system format in the Windows operating system. Unlike FAT32, it doesn't have the restriction of a single file size being limited to 4GB. It can support extremely large files, meeting users' demands for storing and transferring large-capacity files. Additionally, it also performs well in aspects such as security, stability, and disk space management.

Kindly Note

1) You cannot transfer or view media files downloaded from iTunes or other third-party applications. Because these files are protected by digital rights management.

2) If you used iCloud before, you need to download files to your iPhone/iPad and then copy them to the iphone external storage.

3) The phone case may prevent the proper connection between a phone and a USB flash drive, which could result in the phone being unable to recognize the USB flash drive. In this situation, please do not conclude that the usb flash drive cannot be used, remove the phone case and try again.

4) The way your phone supplies power to external devices is that if your phone's screen is turned off, no power is supplied. Therefore, the flash drive cannot be recognized without power. (* Solution: For better use, we recommend that you set your phone to "never" turn off the screen when transferring large files.)

5) For Flash Media Devices, 1 megabyte = 1 million bytes; 1 gigabyte = 1 billion bytes. Actual useable capacity may vary. Some of the listed capacity is used for formatting and other functions, and thus is not available for data storage.

6) Up to 30MB/s read speed, write speed is lower. Based on internal testing; performance may be lower depending on the host devices and user’s settings and configurations.
