Triphala was recommended to me by an Ayurvedic practitioner. Initially my body didn’t like it and I couldn’t take it. Seeing that it consisted of (3) fruits, I decided to purchase them individually and try to find if my problem was with (1) or more of them. Turned-out my body didn’t like the Bibhitaki so I just took the other (2) and then after a time I tried the Bibhitaki again and got no adverse reaction. When I used up the individual herbs I bought Triphala and have taken it ever since. I use it occasionally when I haven’t had a good full bowel movement for a few days. I’ve tried taking it before bed and first thing in the morning; taking it in the morning and allowing a few hours before eating ( the longer the better)works best for me . I see myself using Triphala occasionally for the remainder of my life; it is a helpful aid for me. I hope it’ll work for you!
