I bought the Away Everywhere Zip Backpack for work, but it quickly became my go-to travel companion too. It's sleek and stylish enough for the office, but super functional on the go. I recently took it with me to Thailand and was so impressed with how well it held up. One of my favorite features is that the zippers go all the way down the sides—makes digging around for things mid-flight or in a rush so much easier. It fits everything I need without feeling bulky and still looks polished no matter where I take it.

This is a solid backpack that I sort of bought on a whim along with my suitcase because of a great credit card deal. Having used it now, I'd pick something with an external pocket that could easily fit a iPhone in a case. I'd also pick one with an external option for a water bottle. But otherwise, it's been great.

Seems like a well made bag. However, for me personally it was way too small. I have the original Away backpack (zipper finally gave in) and find it a lot more usable. The front pocket of this bag is not secure and not large enough. Limited organizational space within. I'm exchanging it for the larger bag to see if that works out.

I love the way it looks, and love the salt, color w/ttexture,, but as other reviewers said, why is there not a compartment for a water bottle on the outside?! I knew this when I purchased it as I read every review before hand, but the style one me over anyway. It truly looks like a very simple ad to make this a five star on every level. I hope Away is taking notes on the comments involving adding a compartment for a water bottle! I will buy it again if they do!

Travel can be hectic and gift giving can be difficult. But, Away makes travel less hectic and gift giving simple! I didn't realize how limited the space in this backpack would be when I bought it. While it's fine for daily work commutes, it's not ideal for travel. There's no dedicated spot for a water bottle, and once the main compartment is full, the front pocket becomes practically unusable. If you're looking for a compact option, it might work, but it's not as versatile as I'd hoped.
