Everything is as advertised, good quality and usually timely. No real complaints

Love! Last year I planted the San Marzanos by seed on one side of my garden and San Marzanos starts from a nursery on the otherside and the seeds surpassed the starts!

I got 4 gallons or more of tomatoes off of a couple of these plants! they were easy to germinate and didn't get much disease. Love this variety and made some lovely sauce!

High germination rate, I had 6 total transplants put out in late July in 8b. They grew well, but the heat slowed them a bit. I would recommend a shade cloth to help keep them cool enough to grow better. By the time the temps got low enough for the plants to take off, I didn't have enough time for the tomatoes to mature before the first freeze took them out. Definitely best for first spring planting, and only succession planting if temps can be better regulated, such as a greenhouse or good air flow under a shade cloth. All July plants were loaded with tomatoes, just still hard green by late November. Recommended.

Grew slow at first as seedlings but really took off when I transplanted them into the garden bed. We have a very hot and wet climate here in Houston most summers so it feels like a constant battle against disease issues, and this year was particularly challenging. While all my other tomatoes were ravaged these managed to resist whatever was killing my other varieties. They definitely were still affected but they grew quite large and still produced a decent amount of fruit while the others produced nothing and died. Sadly hurricane Beryl obliterated them right after the first fruit ripened, so I only got a small amount from these. I was very happy with how hardy they were and suspect I would have had a great harvest judging by how many green fruit were on the plants before the storm.

This is my third planting: besides Crows stealing seeds our weather here wet and colder with high winds. Even have another batch started in garage waiting for warmer weather and to get big enough to set out then plant in garden beds.

Of the three varieties I've tried this year (first time gardener), these San Marzanos seem to be the most finicky and prone to blossom end rot. I don't think it's the plants as much as it is my inexperience and poor watering regimen earlier in the season, but I would certainly suggest that growing these successfully is a stretch-goal for beginners. There's nothing quite as disappointing as some blossom end rot on your previously beautiful little tomatoes. If you're looking for a beginner-friendly harvest to cut your spade on, maybe checkout the Moneymakers. They've been abundant and resistant to my inexperience!

Absolutely nothing was successful. Not a single thing. Even if I got a sprout, it immediately died.

I bought a variety of vegetables &flower seeds and every seed sowed came up before germination date! All plants are healthy & strong! The best seeds I have ever grown. Throughout harvest I will update the product. Expect the Best!

Seeds were started in seed starter soil. Came up and placed under grow lights til they were 4-5 inches tall. Planted in garden and so far look vigorous.

From the pocket, only planted 20 seeds. 2 seeds per cell, hoping to get at least 10 plants. Every seed germinated,

I grew this last year from a seedling that I bought at a Nursery. It was a great feeling to be able to grow this year from a good stock BI seeds!

All of my seeds germinated and are looking healthy and strong. I found both seed packets had 16-18 seeds. I'm happy with my purchase and will continue to order from your company. Thanks for all the videos, please do keep them coming!

The shipping costs are ridiculous. There is no way you can reasonably charge $10 to ship a pack of seeds. That fee is dishonest at worst and disingenuous at best.

I grew these for the first time in 2023. Let me tell you I was not disappointed. I did not have great success with the BI Cherokee Purple tomato in the past, so I sowed extra seeds just in case. Well, I had 100% germination. I planted my seedlings a little early in the season and planted 1 extra just in case a late frost hit. We had a few cool nights where I was genuinely worried. They looked a little sad afterwards but they bounced back with a vengeance. These grew 3-4' tall and produced so many tomatoes I was overwhelmed with the quantity and quality! I would highly recommend these for anyone wanting to make sauce. These are your tomatoes to grow!

I grew the BI San Marzano tomatoes last summer. They were insanely prolific! We ended up with over 300 pounds when we harvested them in late September. They keep well. We still have 3-4 pounds in mid-January that are useable in salads.
