Seems to be doing its job fine! I haven't noticed any problems with it so far. But there's one thing that's a bit of a letdown - the indicator lights are really hard to see. You almost have to squint to notice them.Other than that, it's working well and giving me the protection I need for my RV. I'm just hoping I won't have to strain my eyes too much to check those lights in the future.

The build quality on this surge protector is phenomenal. Almost to the point of being extreme and that gives me confidence in its longevity. In use, it works great. It transmits electricity, but it's more than that, it connects to your wifi, easily, and gives you a fair amount of info.But, do you really need that or is it nice to have? Well, it certainly satisfies the tech geek in me, but it comes at a higher cost. And that's what it really comes down to: do you want to spend the extra money, for the added info-functionality or can you get by with a more affordable connector?4 stars. Works as a 5 star product, but you might, or might not, need the extra functionality.

If you have a big RV or want to make sure the power cable is not the bottleneck, 50 Amp is the way to go. This larger plug is designed natively to support 50 Amp RVs but can support 30 Amp connections with an adapter (not included.) Most travel trailers from my research will come with 30 Amp hookups, but the larger ones that have more features often require 50 Amps available to make use of everything.This surge protector is made by a reputable brand and is solid so far. Hopefully we never get a major power surge, but with one of these in place you can rest knowing your investments are protected. No sense skipping a surge protector and changing it with an expensive repair bill if your electric should be overloaded.The unit has a weather-resistant design with the clear cover and should last for many years with proper care.

First, this is half the price of the discount online rv stores. You can find a few cheaper here on thissite. Here on the island we have the power go out from gales and downed trees at least six timesa winter and when the power is restored without warning (or like last year when lighting strucka transformer on the pole that feeds our rural acreage and ten acre camp out venue) the surge can at best trip all the circuit breakers in the spot we park folks in their big trailers and at worst burn out yourSteam Deck. As soon as I plugged it in it took a second to reset and then clearly showed a ground fault which luckily was only a recent storm causing a branch to losen the wire on the grounding rod, and a quick fix. If it doesn't protect in the next power outage onage surge I'll update this review.

Great for additional protection against surges while camping, most camp grounds have shaky power so this help protect your valuable trailer. With all the electronics in trailer today this is a must have. built fairly well and the light very visible when plugged in. Worth the price for peace of mind.
