I cannot speak highly enough about Barefaced! I tried them out after my dermatologist wanted to put me on spironolactone and I wanted to try a different route. I love this retinol! The texture is so smooth and it isn’t as harsh as other retinoids I’ve tried in the past. I have seen a noticeable difference in the texture of my skin and it has helped lighten the redness and scarring I experience after years of breakouts. These two sets of photos were taken 2 months apart in the same room at the same time of day. The first before I started using Barefaced and the second is 2 months with Barefaced! I am really loving this product! It's tighting my skin around my eyes just like Botox would but without the needles and pain. The texture is smooth, lightweight, and I hardly notice it on. I have been using this product for about 6 months. It has definitely helped improve my skin texture for smoother looking skin and helped control acne. I have sensitive skin but have not had trouble using this every day. Have not found that it has been particularly effective in improving my skin color (which is naturally pretty red and has a dark spot)

Love this product! I don’t get Botox and feel like I see a difference in my eye wrinkles from being consistent with this. My skin is the best it has ever been at 32, even with frequent travel and life stressors that would typically break me out; my break outs have been so minimal I am shocked. This has a very matte texture. I do feel like I need to use more of this than most other products, but I always make sure it bring it all the way down my neck so that could be why. At this point I feel like consistent use along with some laser treatments eventually will help me to avoid Botox for me personally. The texture of my skin is the smoothest it has ever been.

Retinal therapy was the piece my skincare regimen had been missing! I had already incorporated toning pads 2 and liquid gold and had seen a huge decrease in my acne and dark marks. I have really enjoyed using this product! I have very sensitive acne prone skin so I was hesitant to use this (tretenoin has always been too intense for my skin). I highly recommend following the direction of 3x/week to begin for sensitive skin. I paired it with the overachiever and I think it’s a great combo.
