The best Vitamin C there is! I’ve tried many, such as Drunk Elephant and both Skinceuticals CE Ferulic and Phloretin, and all they did was cause me to breakout. For reference, my skin is combo-dry - oily T-zone and dry cheeks. I’ve never dealt with big breakouts/acne until COVID era in 2020. I work in the hospital where mask use was necessary, and that really irritated my skin. I couldn’t find anything to help treat the hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, and rough texture left behind from the acne scars until I discovered this absolute gem! My face is so much more brighter, skin tone is more even, and I don’t notice much redness anymore. Photos below show how bad my breakouts were, followed by the hyperpigmentation, and my face recently with just falsies. Thank you Barefaced!! I also purchased the toning pads and tinted sunscreen and they’re definitely a must too!

I have never used a vitamin c serum before so I am excited to see results! I do have sensitive skin so I had to build this in gradually. It spreads really nicely and does make my face tingle slightly! The tingling is more intense when I use the toning pads on the same day, but I expect this to continue to improve. My skin feels tighter and smoother and my pores seem smaller. I'm still battling some acne scars, sun spots and melasma, but hoping this will help fade that!

Waited until I ran out of my Obagi 20% Vitamin C to try this one and am so glad that I tried it! There’s not a smell to it but something did seem off when I first started using it in comparison to the obagi.. probably the consistency (a little thicker than what I was used to) but after a few days of using it, I definitely prefer it. Love that it’s not as thin as the obagi and that it doesn’t smell. And best of all, it works! Ignore how terrible these photos are but I feel like there’s a big difference and that means a lot to me because melasma is so challenging to control!

I’ve been using toning pads and brightening face wash for a few months now, and was using vitamin C from a different company. I started incorporating liquid gold a month ago into my already barefaced routine and I just am obsessed with my face. I am very consistent. The product doesn’t smell like other vitamin c products and it is so soft and silky and absorbs into the skin so well. Barefaced transformed my skin and I will never use another brand again.

I suffer from rosecea, acne, and uneven skin tone. I was skeptical about using Barefaced products or any new products and making it worse. I use the Toning pads, Liquid Gold, and Overachiver daily. 3 weeks of use and a huge difference in my complexion already! I use toning pads & 4 drops of liquid gold 1x a day. Pictures are in the same exact spot in my bathroom. I introduced the Barefaced products slowly and this was one of the last I introduced, as I had already been using Obaji Vitamin C. I noticed a huge difference in my skin when this was an everyday item in my routine. I have extremely sensitive skin and had no issues with this product (Obaji tingled a bit). I think it helps the other products I use work better as well. Love this product and would highly recommend

My cystic acne was getting bad and I had reached my breaking point. I decided to take the plunge and spend the money on a few products. I started off using Clenziderm face wash, Toning Pads II and Glow Peel Pads for my cystic acne. I've been looking for a great quality vitamin C serum and I'm so glad I found this. A little bit goes a long way and it feels a lot better on my skin than other vitamin C serums I have used in the past.
