My first time buying Real Salt was simply to purchase a US product. Little did I know what I was in for. I thought salt was salt! I've changed my mind. Real Salt is excellent from beginning to end. Both fine and kosher have proven themselves over and over from soup to nuts, literally. I also use it for canning picante sauce (48 quarts in 2025) and again, it has lived up to its excellent reputation. I'm hooked and glad I am! Best salt EVER!

I heard so many positive online comments about this salt that I was excited to finally buy it. The first few times I used it in soup I chided myself for not washing the veggies thoroughly. However, by the fourth use, and still having a gritty, sandy residue in the last serving, and literally crunching my way through it, (yuk!!), I realized it wasn't me. I truly don't get the hoopla over this salt. I have had delicious gourmet brands, but never anything as stomach-chirning as this. It was like being a kid again having lunch the beach. I'm tossing it. Expensive mistake.
