I have been able to use this bi-pod on many scouting and hunting adventures over the past five months and have loved the versatility and user friendly design. I like to remove the yoke and use the bi-pod with an adapter to mount my binoculars for hours of glassing. Then, when on the move I put the yoke back on and extend the legs to a predetermined length. I can remove the bi-pod from my pack in a matter of seconds and have a steady rest for my rifle. In addition, Vanguard's customer service is second to none. I lost the yoke in the field and needed a replacement before the next hunting season. I reached out to customer service and explained the situation. A new part was on my doorstep the next day.

Actually, my daughter used one before and liked it, so she wanted one for Xmas.

Great for open range shooting where uneven terrain makes getting a stable sitting site picture a challenge. Being able to remove the U-Yoke to mount a scope for glassing is an added benefit!
