This review will not show up verified because I purchased it from another online retailer who owns their own delivery vans. They no longer allow me to review for no reason at all so now I now review here, for the manufacturer! Note that despite the bottom of this adapter looking like it supports Arca Swiss tripod heads, it does not. You will need your own Arca Swiss tripod plate to it (I use the orange one from 3 Legged Thing). I am using this tripod mount with my Bushnell Engage X 10x42 Binoculars, and frequently use it out in the wild (I am a nature photographer). The binoculars I'm using it with are roof prism binoculars with less clearance between the barrels, and due to how fat the adapter is, I find it a bit hard attaching my binoculars to the adapter. I usually have to be very careful and "thread" the adapter between the 2 barrels, which is somewhat annoying (hence subtracting 1 star), however this adapter is heavy duty and once you "thread" it in between your binoculars, it will hold it relatively steady. I wish Vanguard would allow review photos so I can show you what I mean. My binoculars do twist a tiny bit on the pivot, but I think that is expected for every binocular. This adapter keeps my binocular more steady on the tripod for viewing than other adapters I have tried. Overall it is a really nice adapter.

I like the large twist handle on this bino adapter but the part that screws into the binoculars breaks easily. What was scary is that it broke flush with the binos so I wasn’t sure that I was going to get it out, but luckily it unscrewed easily.

It works on a new Vanguard monopod shooting stick to set up my Vortex Razor HD binoculars. It probably would be a more solid connection on the monopod with a Quick Shoe but I don’t want to carry the extra ounces on a hunt. I gave it 4 stars because 5 stars for me requires field use. I haven’t gotten there yet.
