This pairing of speakers are exactly what I needed in my 2005 Chevrolet Silverado the sound is clear and crisp and you can tell the speakers are heavy duty right out of the box. They definitely can handle anything the factory set up has to offer it. Very satisfied I maybe buy another set to go in another Chevrolet pick up.

Bought 2 pairs of the pro x 6.5 with 3.5 tweets. Got here in decent time, spent numerous hours installing in door to a 400 amp for each pair sounded great for about 1song on low volume (amp sensitivity all the way down) and then they were clipping at low volume aswell as sounding like ass and now only 1 is still working . Should’ve stuck with jl

I bought this set about a month ago. I have the 6.4s hook to my ds18 zr1000 watt amp and the tweeters running off radio power (and yes I have a passive crossover on them) I removed the bass caps cause I've never really been a big fan of them. The only issue I have with these is the terminals come out from the sides. So when you cut the holes for the tweets you have to notch the hole for the terminals to go through So now I have a total of 6 of the pro x6.4bm and 2 of the tweeter.

I recently purchased the DS18 PRO-X6.4BMPK Loudspeakers and Tweeters Package Including a Pair of PRO-X6.4BM + a Pair of PRO-TW1X/BK and let me tell ya I'm so very glad I did. Now not only am I pounding the subs but I'm screaming while going down the street. I can only imagine how much better it's going to sound once I get a aftermarket head unit instead of this factory 1 I'm currently using. Anyways this package set really blew my mind because I wasn't expecting such a difference. I originally was using some Skar speakers and thet sounded good but these DS18 speakers sound GREAT! If your in the market for some new speakers DON'T hesitate, get a couple these sets, install them, then sit back and enjoy! DS18 FAN 4 LIFE!

one of the speakers came with a hole in it and the people at ds18 wont respond to me

although it took 2 weeks to arrive it was it good shape they came without a cable that you need to connect the speaker to the car. and no extra cable for the tweeters or stand.
